OUTCOME: HUNG JURY

This was an extremely difficult case for us. We were able to sway four of the six jurors to vote not guilty by attacking a dishonest officer. We were able to score points with those jurors when we qu ... estioned the officer on a missing roadside video. The Jury was then deadlocked with four voting not guilty and two voting guilty. The state elected to reduce the charge to obstruction of a passageway rather than have to try the case again.

Client was stopped for driving 104 miles per hour after leaving a wedding reception. He also performed very poorly on the ABC test. James Baker of Fort Worth was co counsel. After a long deliberatio ... n, the jury found that the state did not prove the case and found my client "Not Guilty"

This was a tough case with an accident. I was able to successfully cross the arresting officer and force him to refresh his memory with a police report. We later discovered that the police report was ... actually written by an officer who was not even at the scene. After discovering the report’s true origin, the jury had serious questions about what actually happened at the scene, and they voted “not guilty.”

This was a very difficult case. My client pulled over into the HOV lane when the officer stopped her. She also did not perform very well on the standardized field sobriety tests, but we brought an exp ... ert witness to show how the administration of the test was flawed. The jury agreed with us and voted "not guilty."
