I started with another attorney that was absolutely failing at representing me. The attorney would have ended up with my ex wife receiving double the child support and maintaining 90% of the time with our child. After mediation I was on my way to only seeing my son four days out of the month and having no rights. My attorney was just collecting my money and not returning service. I was the father with no time, rights and paying a large sum for child support. I went and talked to Mr James Stapler the next day. As soon as Mr Stapler took over my case I felt confident that I had an attorney that was going to fight for me. First thing he did was cut the mediation charges down as my previous attorney provided no service. Mr Stapler then asked me exactly what I wanted as far as custody. He didnt waste my time and money and was totally up front. He came up with a strategy to combat the mothers claims of PTSD and TBI. Guided me on everything I needed to do to be a fit father in the laws eyes. Mr Stapler came to court and fought for me and in return I recieved 100% of everything I asked for. Mr Stapler is the man!!

James Stapler simply put is the best you will find! I have had a few lawyers over the years and always left disappointed like so many others. But James and his Firm made me feel special. I feel represented and that He has my best interest at heart. He is read in on my case before I arrive each and every time, and ready for business so as to not wast time and my money. With James I have an Attorney for life! I trust him with my family and feel safe knowing he is on my team and ready to fight for me and my family. James if extreme fair with regards to billing and being available when I need him. You will not find one better!

I recommend Mr. James Stapler. J Stapler is a good lawyer in Killeen, TX near Fort Hood Army Post. He cares about the people he works with and his case load. I have only known him a few months but I can tell he is knowledgeable about the law. He also won Best Law Firm in Killeen, TX having been voted on by the local daily newspaper readers. That speaks volumes about the trustworthiness of his practice.

I can not say enough good things about Dan Corbin and Associates. After visiting another attorney whom shall remain nameless and being quoted an amount of $10,000 to represent me, I was referred to Corbin and Associates where I was assigned Jay Stapler as my attorney. I could not have been happier with my results. After waiting a year to have my day in court I received news from Jay and his staff that I would not have to appear due to the decision in my case being overturned and subsequently dismissed. If you are in need of a great lawyer look no further than Dan Corbin and Associates. Thank You Jay and your great staff for taking time to get to know me and assisting me with my legal needs.

Mr. Stapler was very professional and thorough. He saw a lost young man and helped him. He got a kid a second chance. He was very compassionate and loyal to this young man and we will forever be grateful to Mr. Stapler for his time, and for truly caring. He saw the potential in my son and got him a chance after my sons other attorney dropped him like a hot potato. Words cannot describe how wonderful Mr. Stapler is. If your looking for help from someone who truly cares this is your guy!! On my sons last visit in court another man was there and he too spoke very highly of Mr. Stapler and assured me that Mr. Stapler would help my son out because he had helped him too. Thank you Mr. Stapler, thank you for your loyalty to my sons case. We will ever be grateful!!

I contacted this law office about a divorce. I paid them over $1500. its been about 7 months and last week was the first time I actually got to talk to Mr. Stapler. he never returns calls and he is very unprofessional. Without even looking at my file he said to just give her what she wans , she will win. I had to call the law office to see what was going on for them to do anything. only time they ever called me was when it was about money, Pleas I beg you to find another lawyer at all cost.

I fell into some legal issues and Mr. Stapler represented me. I was terrified, as I have never been in trouble before. Mr. Stapler walked me through the process and made me feel so much better about my situation. My charges were eventually dismissed and my bad decision will no longer haunt me. I am so appreciative to him and his staff. I have referred a couple of friends for other legal matters and have heard nothing but positive feedback from them.

This particular attorney that works for corbin and associates has ben one of the most unprofessional people i have ever had the pleasure of working with. I was never kept informed and never received any types of correspondence even though i tried contacting them over and over again. When i explained to him i was concerned that he was uninvested in my case than my legal matter he blew up raised his voice at me, cussed at me and called me names. The firm then took the money i paid them as retainer for another civil matter and did not provide the service that was promised.

Nice folks but completely incompetent. Once they've got your money they refuse to return calls, emails, or text messages (we tried all 3 to reach someone and no one ever returned our calls). The principal of the firm, Dan Corbin, was too busy running for Mayor of Killeen to ensure his clients legal services were being cared for. Typical politician, says one thing and does another.
Ultimately, we had to terminate our contract with them and intend to submit complaints to the American and Texas Bar Associations. These folks should not be practicing law in any jurisdiction.
