Ms. Sheinbein received her undergraduate B.S. degree from Simmons College in Boston, Mass., in Organic Chemistry and Cell Biology. Although she never directly utilized her undergraduate degree, it began her training in analytical thinking. She subsequently graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law cum laude (top 20% of her class) and passed the bar in 1999. After graduating from law school, she worked for an A-V rated boutique litigation firm in Dallas, Texas and was trained to be meticulous and thorough in her work. She believes the key to successful litigation is PREPARATION, PREPARATION, PREPARATION and as a result has an impressive "win" record.
Ms. Sheinbein has a general litigation practice. She routinely handles almost any kind of contract dispute, including construction disputes, mechanic's liens, credit card problems, warranty claims, landlord/tenant disputes, collection problems, partnership problems, non-compete agreements--you name it, Ms. Sheinbein has probably handled it if there is an oral or written contract involved. Many times there are elements of fraud and deceptive trade involved and Ms. Sheinbein particularly enjoys going after "the big guys."
Personally, Ms. Sheinbein lives on a ranch and spends what little free time she has (!!) working with her cows, her vegetable garden and fishing.

Unprofessional and untrustworthy
I hired her to help me with a lawsuit and it was a huge mistake! I basically had to force her to do her job after she took a large amount of money from me. It would take multiple emails before she would even respond and then I would find out that she had not even done what she had said she would prio...

The best
Andrea is just wonderful. She fought so hard for me and made a miracle happen in court when everyone doubted what we did could be done. She is a great attorney. Honest, good people sometimes go down for things they didn't do or lies get told about them a judge may believe. She made sure this didn't h...

Admiration and Trust
Andrea represented me in a very contentious divorce action; and, was very successful in preventing scheming and unscrupulous manuvers from the opposing side. Not only am I more than happy with the way the case is progressing, but I admire and trust Andrea as an attorney and as a friend.

Knows the Law and Knows how to Fight
I hired Ms. Scheinbein for a custody case. The mother and her lawyer were trying to play all sorts of legal games to try and avoid the issue at hand. With her experience (AND SHE KNOWS THE LAW WELL!), she was able to maneuver and stop the wasting of money. Ms. Scheinbein got right to the point,...

Awesome job!!
Andrea is a wonderful person and an awesome attorney. I was facing an ugly divorce and custody battle. I was told by friends, family and even attorneys I interviewed prior to Andrea, that just because I was a man, it would be impossible for me to gain custody of my 2 daughters (one being an infant)...
