I cannot say enough good things about Sarah Darnell and O'Neil & Attorneys. I hired Sarah thanks to a GREAT friend who recommended her. From my first consultation with Sarah, she recognized my ex was intrepreting our divorce decree as he so fit. Sarah was able to help me stand up for what was right and put it on the right track. I was facing the issue of increasin...g child support (to meet standard guidelines). I knew that doing so would be more difficult than my divorce and had it had the potential of becoming explosive. The fact that it could become explosive did not "shake" Sarah at all. Sarah was confident she could handle anything that came her way. The night before our first hearing we were made aware of circumstances which totally change our stratagy. Sarah was able to think quickly and was prepared to go first thing in the morning. We ended up going to court several times - each time the ruling was in our favor. Sarah is very confident and competent in what she does. Yes, she helped me in that making sure I received the appropriate child support but it goes way beyond the money. I have gained so much strength from Sarah. Sarah gives you the tools you need long after the hearing is done and over with.

The opposing counsel for my case literally left the courtroom laughing in our face. The first time I met with Sarah Darnell I instantly felt that she possessed certain judgmental personality traits, (my degree is in sociology), however Michelle O'Neill came highly recommended so I signed on with Sara...h Darnell. If you are entering into this world, let me warn you that the upcoming events can change your life permanently and it is crucial that you obtain an attorney that not only possesses educated professionalism but a sense of empathy as well. I found out the hard way that Sarah Darnell only had my best interests in mind when she felt the odds would swing in my favor. The only thing worse than being betrayed by your significant other, is to be betrayed by you attorney. I never knew that divorce could be so ugly and found it truly brings out the worst in people. If anyone out there has been in my situation you know this separation involves everything in which you once called 'home' and during this stressful time the one thing you want to help you sleep at night is that 'at least Sarah Darnell has my back'. Unfortunately this was surprisingly not true. I have had attorneys in the past and I was literally shell-shocked when my attorney...my only ally, abandoned me when she 'got a hunch' that I would not win. Well, the Lord must have been on my side because right about the time Sarah Darnell filed a motion to withdrawal as my attorney, the court found in favor of me and soon after Sarah Darnell's motion was withdrawn. At this point I was not in a financial position to start from scratch with a new attorney so I graciously proceeded with my next hearing with Sarah Darnell by my side. Directly after my hearing, Sarah proceeded to give me the 'cold shoulder' because during my cross examination, which is specifically intended to knock the petitioner off their horse with false accusations just to get their nervous testimony 'memorialized', I apparently did not answer to her liking. Since then, Sarah Darnell would only accept contact through her assistant and not once contacted me herself. Instead she filed yet another motion to withdrawal and in a nutshell left me high and dry. Sarah Darnell has extreme difficulty with not taking things personally and in all my professional career positions I have never encountered such childish behavior. I hope this review will provide some much needed feedback and provides a synopsis of what to expect from Sarah Darnell
