Frank Preston Skipper

We hired Frank back in July, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Frank met with my husband for the very first time just ONE hour before his court appearance, and it was clear he was completely unprepared. He was not professional, did not listen, and showed a serious lack of preparation. F...or lack of better words—he was a total waste of time. Everything we told him and all the information we gathered was dismissed. He acted confident, as if he could handle the case, but once he was paid, communication stopped. In the courtroom, he failed to mention the information we had given him, which was crucial. Because of his negligence, we had to hire another attorney and start the entire process over. The SAME information Frank told us “wasn’t needed” is exactly what our new attorney used—and within 10 minutes she won our case. I strongly recommend that you do your research. FRANK IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. If I could give no stars I would!!

Frank came highly recommended. During our first meeting, he helped ease my anxieties and reassured me I would get through this. During the initial consultation he stated his fees would not exceed the retainer but ended up costing me over five times that amount. He stated he was going to be very aggre...ssive on my behalf, which I do not feel that he was. I do understand I was one of several clients but towards the end of my divorce I had to follow up with him and his staff several times before getting a response or returned call. On more than one occasion I had to notify his office to correct their typos to my name and address, which resulted in more costs on my end. He was very kind and comforting when I was distraught but I had more faith in him that I should have.

We had a family keeping my Son's daughter, our Granddaughter away from us. They started out with a bogus filing of the situation, which Frank countered immediately. They changed lawyers and we filed for joint custody, which went to mediation eventually, and we came out with more than we expected than...ks to Frank. We're extremely happy with the outcome, and would recommend or use Frank's services again.

Skipper is amazing. I had a very nasty divorce with many false accusations made by my ex wife. He walked me through every step and kept me informed. Was amazing in court and was very well prepared. Not just an attorney but a true friend. His experience and professionalism is second to none. Doesn't s...ugarcoat what's going to happen, he is a straight shooter. Frank is absolutely awesome!!!! I DIDN'T THINK I NEEDED A LAWYER. It was going to be a friendly non contested divorce. Frank walked me step by step through the process and keep in CONSTANT COMMUNICATION. When things turned not so friendly Frank had my back. He was AGGRESSIVE WHEN I NEEDED him wi...th out being ugly. Frank helped me get everything I wanted in the divorce. His price was VERY REASONABLE and worth 10 times what I paid. At one point my husband stated he hated his lawyer.
