Frank Preston Skipper

We hired Frank back in July, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Frank met with my husband for the very first time just ONE hour before his court appearance, and it was clear he was completely unprepared. He was not professional, did not listen, and showed a serious lack of preparation. F...or lack of better words—he was a total waste of time. Everything we told him and all the information we gathered was dismissed. He acted confident, as if he could handle the case, but once he was paid, communication stopped. In the courtroom, he failed to mention the information we had given him, which was crucial. Because of his negligence, we had to hire another attorney and start the entire process over. The SAME information Frank told us “wasn’t needed” is exactly what our new attorney used—and within 10 minutes she won our case. I strongly recommend that you do your research. FRANK IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. If I could give no stars I would!!

I randomly called Frank in 2023 for a consultation. Did not hire him until 2025 when I realized it was not going to be an easy process being my only advocate with no legal experience. He not only corrected what I incorrectly completed. He saw the other attorney trying to bully and railroad me. A case... that had been going on for 2 years Frank got it major traction. It has been a long road and there are things that had come up that slowed down the process but Frank responded when I had questions whether it was about status or billing . He addressed every concern. He stayed on top of the other attorney to settle. At the end of it all truth came to light . Frank came highly recommended. During our first meeting, he helped ease my anxieties and reassured me I would get through this. During the initial consultation he stated his fees would not exceed the retainer but ended up costing me over five times that amount. He stated he was going to be very aggre...ssive on my behalf, which I do not feel that he was. I do understand I was one of several clients but towards the end of my divorce I had to follow up with him and his staff several times before getting a response or returned call. On more than one occasion I had to notify his office to correct their typos to my name and address, which resulted in more costs on my end. He was very kind and comforting when I was distraught but I had more faith in him that I should have.
