Divorce
Marcy is a fabulous attorney. She knows the right people, and the right methods, even obscure ones, to get the job done. I have an ex-wife that really tested the patience of Job! Marcy was always calm and in control and always knew exactly what to do with the next move. Even when my ex took me back t...

Do what she tells you to do...
Marcy was my attorney for my divorce. She gave me excellent advice, some of which I choose to not follow. I am now paying the price literally for this mistake. Hindsight is definitely 20/20. Great attorney but she can only do what you let her. So do what she says...

I cannot recommend Martha enough. Not only was she able to eliminate my child support payments but she designed a strategy whereby the court required my ex-spouse to pay me. Martha has the experience and good judgement to effectively advise clients. She made me feel like we were collaborating to dete...

Professional and Aggressive
Marcy represented my in a highly contested child custody battle that has gone on many years. She was able to review the case and understand the issues that needed to be addressed. She was aggressive and stood up for me when the time was come to make decisions.

"I wholeheartedly endorse Ms. Akers. Over the years we have worked in the same firm and we have worked opposite each other on matters. Every time I see her name on the pleadings I am pleased. I know that her client will be well represented and that the matter will proceed without needless delays. She is able to zealously advocate without allowing the litigation to devolve into needless personal bickering. I sincerely hope I never need a lawyer practicing Family Law, but if I I ever do Marcy will definitely be one I would give strong consideration."
"Ms. Akers is very knowledgable of family law and she provides aggressive representation for her clients. I endorse this lawyer."
