A Fort Worth native, I graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1978. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Art from UTA in 1993. I graduated OCU School of Law in 1997 and gained admittance to the State Bar of Texas in 1998.

I am not a downtown corporate attorney. I am a solo practitioner of twenty-one years and office out of my house in Arlington Heights. I offer value pricing to my clients because my overhead is low. It is free to park here. I do not wear a suit to work unless I'm going to court. I can keep a secret and keep my hands off of your money. I can help you.

I offer compensation for the injured, defense for the acused and can settle the estates of the faithful departed.

Great Guy, Great Attorney
Matthew comes highly recommended by me. We have used him for mutiple areas in our life over the last four years, from renting to legal advice and property taxes. He is an excellent guy, very honest and straight forward, educated and always willing to help.

Professional and friendly
I had put off getting a new will and was so pleased with that first visit I had with Mr. Hancock. I really liked him and his professional way of getting my will done. It was such a relief to get this important work taken care of for my children and my own peace of mind. Affordable and a very good experience.

Property Tax Assessment-Fort Worth, Texas
Matthew Hancock has been my lawyer for several years. For the most part he was my property manager for a piece of property we have in Fort Worth, Texas. Matthew was an excellent manager of our property and we never had a problem that he didn't take care of in advance. Because of his outstanding selection and renter interview process we never had a late payment or any damage to our property during his tenure as manager. Several years ago we took the property off the rental market but retained Matthew's services in other legal matters relating to family law. Most recently, we received a tax assessment from the Tarrant Appraisal District TAD) that was outrageous. Matthew was called and he resesented us in a tax hearing. The final result was that TAD reduced our taxes from the previous yeas assessment to a point that was lower than re have received in several years. I attribute this reduction to Matthew's skill as a knowledgeable negotiator and advocate.
