Highest Level of Inegrity and Effectiveness

John Allen has represented our interests -- personal, family and corporate -- for over 30 years with integrity and effectiveness. He is trustworthy and determined. My complete endorsement -- and appreciation!

Lawyer's Lawyer

I had the honor and pleasure of using John Allen Chalk as a lawyer when I went into the oil business in the early 1980's and then from 2000 through 2007 I practiced with him as one of his law partners. There is no lawyer with more integrity than John Allen. We tried complex cases together in civil ...courts , arbitrated complex commercial cases and mediated cases together. He was a mentor and leader in our law firm to every lawyer, especially the trial lawyers. He has earned the highest respect and trust of the Judges in Ft. Worth and has been appointed by them to serve as a receiver in some of the most difficult fiduciary roles a lawyer can be asked to perform. I quit the active practice of law and returned to the oil and gas industry in October of 2007 to start several oil and gas related entities. I have used and continue to use John Allen regarding a myriad of commercial contracts, including disputes and employment issues and contracts. I and other lawyers have the utmost trust and confidence in and use John Allen Chalk as our lawyer. He is the lawyer's lawyer!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
