I was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 11, 1967. I graduated from Mansfield High School, Texas in 1985. Then graduating from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University) in 1990 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. I then graduated from Texas Weselyan University Law School in 1996(Texas A&M Unversity School of Law), receiving the Order of Barristers Honor in the third year.

After completing an internship at the Tarrant County District Attorneys office I immediately opened my own law firm. I primarily focus my practice on personal injury litigation, including truck or big rig accidents, wrongful death cases, car and motorcycle cases, and cases involving catastrophic injuries.

I am a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association (President 2014)(President Elect 2013)(Director 2008-Present), American Association for Justice Bar Association, Tarrant County Criminal Lawyers Association, American Assocation of Justice and the American Bar Association. I am a life Member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

I am licensed in the State of Texas and the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of the United States District Court of Texas. And the United States District Court of Colorado.

I have successfully represented thousands of clients, some in other states and even one case in the Phillippines.

Excellent accident representation

Mr Wooten represented us with respect and promptness. His office was aware of my medical situation and thank goodness they were communicating the timeline that they recommended. I say this because I ended up requiring an additional surgery a year later. I highly recommend this office. Honest & Fair

Honestly, this review is about four years overdue. Coby and his team were very professional and navigated me through a very difficult situation. I put my full trust in him and I certainly feel he had my best interest in mine. This case took almost three years to settle, but he stayed diligent in his efforts and communication. I would hire him and his team again in a heartbeat!!! Forever grateful for him.

It pays to hire a good attorney.

We were very happy with the outcome of the case that Coby handled for us. It was with a major trucking company. He kept us informed and answered any questions that we had. No one ever WANTS to need an attorney, but when I was in need of one, I couldn't have chosen a better one. Coby has handled cases for my family before, so when I was in an accident, i knew who to call. He is always available to explain things and he kept me very well informed on what was going on. Amazing attorney!

Coby went above and beyond while handling my case. And though I had to spend a very brief time in jail, Coby was right there every step of the way. He even made sure my vehicle got back to my house instead of sitting outside the courthouse where it could have been towed or broken into. The best

I found Coby after I lost my spouse in a traffic accident involving a commercial vehicle. He was very compassionate and did everything he could to make this part of the tragedy easier. He was always available to answer all questions, was very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything he was doing. Coby and his staff gave me regular updates on the progress of the case so I was never left wondering what, if anything, was going on. Personal Injury/Auto Accident

This attorney is highly recommended! He is very attentive,knowledgeable and fast acting! November 2009 a drunk driver rear-ended me,I was sitting still at a red light.After several stone wallers,we found Coby! We were able to settle out of court for an acceptable amount that covered all medical expenses,with some left for pain, suffering and punitive damages. I would highly recommend Coby-if he can't help you he will guide you to someone who can. He was always more than helpful. EXCELLENT ATTORNEY

My family suffered terrible injuries at the hands of a trucking company who allowed one of their so-called "trained" drivers to operate an overloaded eighteen wheeler with faulty equipment. We contacted Mr. Wooten because he came highly recommended by a former client, and hired him because of his ability to handle our numerous legal issues.
