Jeremy Smith Willis

Becky called me about a review Jeremy got on this website. Becky thought I was unhappy or wrote a negative review. I read the review and I have to say that my mediation was very different experience. Jeremy and I prepared for a week before we mediated with Mr. Cassels. We spent a whole day in med...iation and Jeremy was very attentive during the entire day. I still visit Becky and see Jeremy at the office to just say hi. He did a wonderful job on my custody case. I could not recommend anyone and he is the best attorney I know.

I had been referred to Jeremy by several of my friends and went to see him when my husband filed for divorce. I felt at home in his office and it was clear from the beginning that he ran a well organized office. His staff was very friendly and clearly competent. The divorce involved almost two yea...rs of my life. In the end, I felt like I was part of his office because I was helping to organize a large volume of documents from my husband's businesses on a weekly basis. In the two years I saw Jeremy and Becky work hard on cases for a lot of people who expected more than they could pay. I know that I had the money to pay for two years of a divorce, but I could not believe the way clients would come in and demand things that they could not afford. After seeing people behave in court so badly and then seeing the way people came to his office, I don't see how Jeremy, Becky, or anyone else can handle that type of business. I never saw anyone in his office be anything but professional and have more respect for him now than I did when we first met.

Please read this and other reviews before you choose to hire Jeremy. He does not return emails or phone calls. You will be passed to an assistant which will not return your emails or phone calls either. Absolutely the worst money I have ever spent. We would not receive return calls or email responses..., so I tried calling daily. Finally we received a letter from the court letting us know that Jeremy was dropping us as clients and the case. Of course this was after he had collected his money. I agree and experienced the same unprofessional circumstances that others have reported on this site. During mediation Jeremy chose to work on email and other cases in lieu of working on our case. He did not focus at all on the mediation, only input he had was settle, settle, settle. If you do make the mistake and hire Jeremy I recommend that you do not pay for any services prior to the case being settled or he will drop you and move on leaving you to hire another attorney to finish your case. Jeremy is the worst attorney I have ever worked with.

Mr.Willis just recently helped me with a long drawn out modification of orders. Mr.Willis knew I needed help as a single working mother and stood by my side even when he was being paid nothing. I have never had lawyers show such character that he has shown me. He guided me and helped me and never ask...ed for a dime. A blessing he has been to my daughter and I. 6 years and he has been my third lawyer and has done more for me than any other lawyer I have had. Jermery has a heart and he not only shows general concern he allows God to work through him. He is a blessing. For a lawyer who will bat for you in any situation is one thing but for one to have done what he has done for me for nothing basically.

I've read some of these other reviews and have to say that I am completely surprised by the responses. I hired Jeremy to handle my custody case a couple of years ago and was so pleased with him and his staff. I know they are busy, but they were never too busy to call me back or sit down with me when ...I just walked in, even when I didn't have an appointment. I knew that I could trust Jeremy to help me get custody of my grandson, and he did. I always send my friends to him when they need legal help. Can't imagine anyone not being as happy with his office as I am. There was never a time when I didn't feel sure that he was gonna do whatever we needed to do to win my case and help me get my grandson out of a bad living environment and with me. I hired Jeremy Willis and so should you if you are reading these reviews wondering if you should hire an attorney. He's definitely the best there is in this area!
