For over two decades, I have devoted my legal career to Social Security disability law. Since being licensed in 2001, I have handled more than 5,000 SSDI and SSI cases for disabled Texans and their families — representing clients at hearing offices across Tyler, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Shreveport, Little Rock, and Fort Smith.
I founded Willis Disability Law because I believe that people facing a disabling condition deserve a real advocate — someone who knows the system, knows the standards each hearing office applies, and will fight for the benefits they have earned. My clients are not case numbers. They are people who are scared, in pain, and uncertain about their financial future. My job is to remove that uncertainty and guide them through one of the most difficult processes the federal government administers.
When you hire Willis Disability Law, you hire me. I personally meet with every client. I personally attend every hearing. I never send a substitute attorney, a contract representative, or a stand-in to represent you before an Administrative Law Judge. At many large disability firms, the attorney you meet at intake is not the person who appears at your hearing. That will never happen at this firm. The person sitting beside you at the most important moment of your case will be Jeremy Willis — the same attorney who reviewed your file, developed your medical evidence, and prepared your case from day one.
Willis Disability Law focuses exclusively on Social Security disability. We do not handle personal injury, family law, or criminal defense. Every attorney, every staff member, and every system in our office exists for one purpose — winning disability benefits for our clients. That singular focus is what allows us to deliver results that general practice firms simply cannot match.
We maintain offices in Tyler, Longview, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Conroe, and Sugar Land, giving us a physical presence across East Texas and the greater Houston area that no other disability firm in the region can match. Our staff includes Spanish-speaking team members, ensuring that language is never a barrier to quality representation.
If you have been denied benefits or are beginning the application process for the first time, I want to hear your story. There is no fee unless we win.

Saved my life
Mr Willis probably saved my life from the man I was married to. Mr Willis is so caring about his clients. We had to talk about terrible things that happened throughout the marriage and he took his time and he had such a calming tone. I don’t believe anyone can have done what he and his office done ...
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Jeremy for many years, working sometimes alongside and sometimes on opposite sides. He is exceptionally talented and knowledgeable, always prepared, and always diligent in representing his clients. He is a professional and ethical attorney."
