Biography
Since 1998, I have been representing citizens accused of crimes thoughout East Texas including Henderson, Van Zandt, Kaufman, Anderson, and Navarro Counties as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. During this time, I have represented those citizens in both state and federal courts for misdemeanor and felony offenses both at trial and on appeal of criminal cases such as violent crimes, sexual offenses, drug offenses, and DWIs. I have a successful trial record and appeals record getting the results my clients wanted. I have earned the respect and admiration of my clients, their families, my colleagues, and the prosecutors I face daily in the courtroom. I have also earned the respect of the judges before whom I appear.
I recognize everyone's case is important and I handle their case just like I would want my case handled if I were in their shoes. I love what I do; I care about my clients and what happens to them; most importantly, I hate to lose. I am always more prepared than the government. I know the law. I know the facts. And I know how each applies to the other. I evaluate each case for its strengths and weaknesses and take the appropriate action. I prepare and investigate every case as if it is going to trial. I look for defenses and issues that help the client's case. I have the reputation for attention to detail and a thoroughness applied to every case. I do what it takes to help my client.
