Best Lawyer in East Texas!

Buck Files gave me a chance, and by doing so he gave me my life back. He got my case dismissed and then expunged. I can now live a normal life! I highly recommend this lawyer and his team.

Beyond Excellent...Outstanding and Extraordinary!! 6 Stars if Possible!

Buck Files and Brett Harrison were the attorneys for my wife and me. We were brought up on charges that were spurious at best. The charges would have cost me my job and thrust our family into bankruptcy and completely devastated us. Our attorneys went after the charges head-on and got them to not on...ly drop the charges against us but also expunge our records. As a result, our family is secure, my job has resumed and we are stronger than ever. They stayed in touch with us consistently throughout the process. While the justice system works slow, our attorneys pushed and pushed with the right amount of pressure to get our case dropped. With an overwhelming show of forceful evidence, there was nothing the DA could do but back down. If you want an attorney who will go to the mat for you and not let up until you win, you have found them. If you want an attorney that will strike fear in the hearts of everyone, look no further than Bain, Files, Harrison, & Bain. We won't be disappointed! We owe our lives to these men. I will be forever grateful.

Motion(s) For Non-Disclosure

Mr. Files represented me in filing a Motion For Non-disclosure with respect to separate courts, misdemeanor and felony. He was successful in making the case to the court and the judge(s) subsequently signed the order(s) on my behalf. You may think you cannot afford Buck Files, but let me tell you f...rom personal experience using a "cheaper" attorney years ago....you CANNOT afford not to hire Mr. Files' office. He's not a miracle worker nor claims to be, but he is highly respected by the court(s). All you have to do is hang out in the court room and watch this man interact with prosecutors and court staff. I would also like to add that Tammy and Kimberly, who work for the law office, are top-notch, and highly motivated individuals. They don't just leave the office at the end of the day and forget about your case. I know personally, that Tammy worked on my case the night before my court date. One more thing, Brett Harrison is another very professional and skilled attorney in this office. He was able to successfully present a motion before the court to early terminate probation by two years. Again, do not expect miracles, but do expect to get the best representation possible in Smith County, Texas when hiring Buck Files or anyone of his fellow partners.

Excellent Service, Professional, High Integrity!

Buck Files and Brett Harrison have worked on my case over a period of more than 10 years. I could not have asked for better representation or a more professional firm. They clearly explained all the risks and potential outcomes with no guarantees, just simple plain fact. My case started off on bad gr...ound from advice I received from another attorney. Buck and Brett had to pick up the pieces and build the case for the best outcome based on the situation they were handed. While I wish I never had to go through all the years of difficult times, I can say I am glad they were on my side and advising me all the way. After the court case settled, the probation ended, and the charges had been dismissed, they then helped me to get the charges sealed. This has lifted an enormous burden off of my shoulders and will allow my life to move forward without the cloud hanging over my head the rest of my life. Buck and Brett both cared about my case, cared about my outcome, and worked hard for the good result that was achieved. I can only say thank you to both of them for their efforts!
