Unprofessional

This woman is supposed to be looking out for the interests of her client, a dear sweet friend of mine, but it seems that, in Tomi's role as a court appointed attorney, she leaves a lot to be desired. Let me explain. Her client is an elderly woman with dementia. Tomi, to my knowledge, has never met h...er client in person, yet at the woman's temporary guardianship hearing Tomi announced that her client wasn't there because Tomi didn't think the client would understand what was going on. My friend is able to understand such things, and had Tomi taken the time to go see her she would've known that. But it was easier for Tomi not to go see her and easier for Tomi NOT to have the elder appear in court so that is what happened because, you see, the world revolves around Tomi Shehan. If you are looking for a unique blend of bad attitude and selfish laziness then Tomi Shehan is your woman. An attorney that mutters rude comments about the judge at hearings, grumbles about time spent working on court appointed cases, doesn't care to investigate allegations of abuse suffered by her clients, and who, by all counts, seems to be truly unstable isn't my idea of a good attorney. This woman is sub par at best and at worst is a meddling nuisance that has only made things more miserable for her client and her client's loved ones. I have really been shocked by her behavior from the first moment she rushed into court late and started immediately muttering under her breath. It's been downhill ever since. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this woman who is less attorney and more toxic harpie.

I was very fortunate to have been referred to Tomi Shehan. Shehan did her homework and was very prepared as this was an uphill battle for me from the beginning. If you are are in need of legal advice or legal representation, There is no other I have come acrossed that had been informative, personabl...e, and truly had my best intentions at heart. The obstacles faced in this particular matter were odd and Tomi Shehan had been prepared and had the correct resolve and answers to all. My faith in the justice system has been restored because of her!
