Gary G. Berman

I hired Mr. Berman and highly recommend him! Though I suspect Mr. Berman probably despises the concept of online reviews in general, I have to say I was very impressed. He very results-oriented. In my impression, he's a class act and general "good dude", but someone you absolutely do NOT want to F wi...th or piss off. He can smell BS a mile away.

I have mediated with this attorney several times. Everytime it's the same thing. He doesn't seem to prepare for the mediation, so he wastes time at the mediation trying to understand what it going on. He doesn't try to persuade anyone of what a fair compromise could be. Instead he just takes... numbers back and forth I have never settled a case with him (in 7 attempts). His last mediators proposal was just a number- no reasons, no explanations, and so essentially useless.

A mediation is meant to be an affair where two parties are engaged in an attempt to resolve a conflict. A GOOD mediator listens, asks questions and then acts. We got the polar opposite. My need for a mediator revolved around a dispute with an HOA. Gary Berman, during his introduction to us, (in a sc...reaming voice that could be heard even in the bathrooms) explained how he couldn't stand his neighbors, how his "mission" was to use his woodworking skills to build offensive items that would upset them. That his goal was to "get" them. How disappointing and extremely immature of anyone, let alone a lawyer, to make this his first impression in resolving a case around neighborhoods! It only got worse. He didn't review the documents in advance, he didn't listen to what we said and 4 hours into the mediation he STILL was incorrect on what we were asking for! Not only that, but his lack of decorum and professionalism was extremely evident. I could hear almost everything he said to the other group that were were in conflict with. I was disgusted to have to pay for this, and I caution anyone and everyone NOT to use him for anything. Horrific. Tell you lawyer ABSOLUTELY NOT if they suggest using Mr. Berman.
