Dawna Kim

I was very blessed to have Dawna as my attorney. I had a DUI case that had the potential to become a DWI case. In the end, the outcome was better than I expected and she even won to retain my license. She also was able to get it expunged off my record. I'd hire Dawna in a heartbeat if I ever get anot...her DUI charge or even any other criminal charges (Not planning on it though haha.)

I had a history of alcoholism. On the night in question, things got very physical between my husband and me. The cops showed up. The end result, I was detained. This was my first time in the judicial system, and I was very scared and very confused. I was charged with a First-degree felony charge a...nd a Class-A misdemeanor. Originally I was assigned a court appointed attorney who I never met with and given my first court date. I had no idea how to meet my attorney, how long I was going to be in jail, how to post bail. I was scared and clueless. Fortunately for me, my husband was already looking for a new attorney. He found Dawna Kim after doing some cold calls and google cross referencing. She was very prompt at getting back to him and walked him through the process of posting bail, and how long I’d have to wait before being released. Once I was released I went to her office and discussed the events leading up to the night in question. She talked about the gravity of the charges and immediately started working on a plan to get the charges dismissed. She asked me not to attend court, which as of great relief, during the preliminary proceedings. And the other court dates as well. Since she was hired to represent me in court, this made sense, as she knew the court system better than I did. This was very beneficial because it allowed me to attend outpatient, anger management classes and juggle a job. I met with her at her office after the court dates to discuss my case, and what the next steps were for getting the case dismissed. Although she had an office line, my main communication with her was text messaging. Which, I’ll admit was weird to me at first, but with Miss Kim being in court, working long days, and juggle several clients, texting her ended up being a very reliable form of communication. And if I needed I could still call her to clarify any communications. From beginning to end the cases and charges went from May 2015 to February 2016, with the end result of having all the charges DISMISSED! Had I not had Dawna Kim, I am most certain that I would be tying this from inside the walls of a penitentiary. This is not to say that Miss Kim will do this for every case, since mine was unique to me. But she does know the court system. She was very professional, very reliable and I would hands down recommend her. I hope I never need her services again.

Mrs. Kim is absolutely amazing I usually don't care too do these type of deals as in leave reviews excetera. But I must say Mrs.Kim is one of the best lawyers that I've ever had and I had a few because my own stupidity, she was great with the financial aspect, and she got my case dismissed. I will b...e keeping her number in my phone, but let's hope that I don't need it anymore thank you again for your hard work!!!!
