Few years back, my employer decided to lay me off in the name of workforce reduction. It was wrongful termination because I was involved in protected activity(serving grand jury duty). Employer offered me severance which was total injustice for my several years of hard work and stellar performance(ne...ver been written up and saved money for this employer) but never been a boot licking employee. Hired Berry among 5 other law firms who were willing to take this strong case. Berry is very detailed. He made sure that severance is at least 3X than what it was originally offered along with more insurance coverage so that I can sail thru the difficult times. I wanted reinstatement but looking at the counter offer from the ex-employer - I later decided to move on and look for another job. US workers should unite and form unions to make sure that greedy Corporations and not shipping the jobs overseas and using US just as a consumer market. We need more employee side attorneys like Berry.
