Atalia Anna Garcia

Atalia Garcia-Williams founded the Dallas-based law firm Garcia Legal Group, P.C. Licensed to practice in Texas since 2010; she handles various legal matters such as personal injury, immigration, and family law.

Completing her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baker College, Ms. Williams pursued her master’s degree at the Texas Woman’s University. In 2009, she received her doctorate in jurisprudence from the Texas A&M University School of Law.

Qualified in business management and marketing, Ms. Williams worked in management for several years until the completion of her law education. Soon after being licensed to practice in 2010, she founded the firm Ramos & Garcia Law Firm, PLLC, where she functioned as an attorney and counselor at law. During these years, she additionally practiced commercial law, criminal defense, and civil litigation.

Throughout the 12 years of her professional career, Ms. Williams has gained valuable experience as a defense and plaintiffs’ counsel. During this tenure, she honed her writing skills by drafting pleadings and motion practice. Trained in basic and family mediation, she also represents clients on various cases before the state and federal courts. 

Over the years, Ms. Williams, as an adjunct professor, has taught several students of law at Baker College and American Business and Technology University. At the former institution, she imparted her knowledge in business law, personal injury, and the proceedings of the judicial system. While at the latter, she assumed the role of a criminal justice instructor and juvenile delinquency instructor.

Ms. Williams is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court. She serves on the board and the executive committee of the Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce. She has memberships in the Mexican American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association.
