Stephen Rohl Clark II

I met Mr. Clark for a consultation. From the moment Mr. Clark sat down at the conference table, to the time he walked out, his presentation was very condescending and arrogant. Mr. Clark would ask me a question, but before I would finish answering him, he'd present another question. Mr. Clark spoke t...o me as if I was an inconvenience to him. When I did share something with Mr. Clark, he stated, "I feel like your talking down to me" Are you talking down to me? I attempted to share a bit of the hardship, that lead me to needing an attorney (hoping that he would began to communicate with respect, compassion and patience (and) remember that I'm human the same as he, I attempted to share the hardship which had gotten me to the point of needing an attorney. After I'd began to share the hardship, Mr. Clarke stated, "I don't care about that" I then began to explain my issue. Mr. Clark stated, "You come here with your papers and using big words and I've gone over the 30 minutes.. "At one point, Mr. Clark used profanity. (Although he did apologize for that) Mr. Clark mentioned writing a letter of demand on my behalf and stated that he would do it for $500. Then he stated, that he would charge $300 per hour. I asked if he could complete the letter within 2 hours. He stated, "No I'll need 3 hours" I told him that this was fine. He stated that he'd have someone (I believe, the female receptionist) email the contract to me (which I haven't received yet) I walked away feeling so disrespected and felt even worse. I am probably old enough to be that young man's mother, but the manner in which he spoke AT me was shocking hurtful, and unprofessional. When I left, I remembered that my sister had just, encourage me to record the consultation. After going over everything, (making sure I didn't read anything into his actions, that we're not there) After going over everything, Attorney Clark was just direspectful. If there are a certain group of people, whom he would prefer to work with, He should inform the public so we won't waist our time.

I hired Stephen for my very complex child custody/modification case this year. My previous attorney did a poor job and left me feeling hopeless. Although my case is still in the works, I can honestly say that I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. As a father in Texas, it is very diffic...ult to get custody, but not for Stephen. He has already won me temporary custody, and I can trust that he will finalize it to the end with the results I’ve asked for. Stephen is so easy to work with and will even do all the hard work for you. He is always quick to answer any questions I have. He’ll text, call and even email me. I started having problems with my ex the father of my child who had taken my baby away from me while I was at work and he also served me with papers at work. I was in super panic mode!! I called up a friend and asked for advice on what I should do and if he knew of someone who could help me. My frie...nd refered Steven. I called Steven that same day all this happened. He said come to his office as soon as I could get there. I got to his office not only was he super prepared and highly intelligent on a situation like this. We discussed my case and got a court date within the next week. Now I have had to deal with something like this in past and never had some so passionate on helping me get my 4 month old baby back. On the first hearing Steven went back into Chambers to speck with the other attorneys and judge. When they got done Steven let me know that I'll be seeing my baby that day. They other partie "my ex" made it very difficult on me to get him to follow judges orders and co parent. Steven was always available to call or text if I had any questions! Which is amazing that's not easy to come by. We went to court over him not following judges orders and Since then we got final orders into place that both parties agreed on!! I had the privilege of having Stephen Clark represent me in my child custody case in Collin County (July 2015). Stephen was very professional and him and his assistant were always very quick to respond to any concerns and questions that I had. Stephen first met me in his office on a holiday week...end to discuss my stressful situation.
