Expensive Attorney/Excellant Attorney

I hired Mr. Wainscott for my son's murder and drug charge. When I talked to other attorney's they left me feeling helpless and confused. A co-worker of mine suggested that I call Mr. Wainscott. My co-worker's son had been charged with kidnapping. Mr. Wainscott had helped their son get the charge redu...ced to a misdemeanor. I found Mr. Wainscott to be more expensive than other attorney's. But, once I spoke to him it was apparent that he was the right attorney for my son. First, he was able to get my son out of jail. His bond had been $500,000 and Mr. Wainscott got the bond reduced to $25000. Within a few days of my son's release, Mr. Wainscott and my son, met with the detectives on the case. The murder charge was eventually dismissed as a result of Mr. Wainscott's knowledge of police policy and procedures. The drug charge involved a half kilo of methamphetamine. At first I was unhappy with the 5year probation. But, as I sat in court and saw other people getting prison time for much less drugs, I came to realize that the probation was a good outcome. Mr. Wainscott charged me $20,000 to handle both of my son's charges. As far as reviewing Mr. Wainscott, he has good and bad things. Good is that he knows what he is doing. All the prosecutors and judges speak highly of Mr. Wainscott. The police detectives liked working with him because of his former police experience (almost 20years). He knows the law and how to handle his cases. He meets his clients personally. Bad is that he is expensive. $20,000 is a lot of money. But, to get the murder charge dismissed and get probation on the drug case was a good outcome. He does office out of his home. He has a small office in his wife's store where he meets his clients. If your looking for an attorney in a big office building, Mr. Wainscott is not your attorney. But, if your looking for an honest attorney who will work his butt off for your son, Mr. Wainscott is certainly your attorney.
