Geoffrey Michael Keller

             Geoff Keller is a founding partner at Vela|Keller P.C. and focuses his practice in the areas of real estate law, criminal law, contract law and business litigation.

             Geoff is a graduate of the University of Texas where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Communications.  He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, where he was selected for the school's competitive mock trial team for two consecutive years.  Geoff won several advocacy awards and membership to the National Order of Barristers.  He was also a member of the moot court honor society, Delta Theta Phi, and chosen to be a pupil of the American Inns of Court- Mahon Inn.

             Upon graduation, Geoff put his trial talents to use by becoming an Assistant District Attorney in Dallas County, Texas where he prosecuted for four years and acted as lead counsel in over 50 trials.  In that time, he recorded an impressive trial record with noted success as lead prosecutor in numberous publicized homicide and crimes against children cases.

             Geoff then practiced in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, for two years where he taught law and legal English to international lawyers, executives, and accountants while gaining conversational German fluency.  Geoff developed an international network of lawyers and businesses that Vela|Keller P.C. can leverage to introduce clients to the European market.

            Geoff is licensed to practice in all state courts in Texas and the Federal Northern District of Texas.  Geoff is also a licensed mediator and an active member with the Dallas Bar Association and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

            Before becoming a lawyer, Geoff worked for and consulted Fortune 500 companies and he has a thorough understanding of today's business environment. 

            Raised in Arlington, Geoff enjoys both watching and playing sports, writing, and traveling with his wife.
