I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. I was one of eight children, did not have a “privileged” upbringing, but am extremely grateful for my parents’ many sacrifices. They instilled in me a work ethic that I carry with me to this day.

Throughout my years, I have overcome many personal and professional challenges. I now devote my professional life to helping clients overcome their financial challenges.

The Straight Shooter, The best of the best!

My wife & I found ourselves needing a bankruptcy attorney. The law offices of Donald E. Hood was highly recommended to us. We found Don and his paralegal, Oliver, were well versed in bankruptcy laws. Don educated us on both chapter 7 and 13, and we were able to make an informed decision as to which ...chapter was best for us. Real Deal

If you need a bankruptcy attorney, stop scrolling and call him. You won’t find anyone better. Don Hood is the real deal. I’ve worked with plenty of professionals over the years, but this guy stands out by a mile. He knows bankruptcy law inside and out, and he actually cares about the people he hel...ps. Donald E Hood Best Attorney Ever

I had been struggling to pay my bills for several months and had exhausted all available resources I had, I knew I had to do something fast. I called Donald Hood's office and spoke with Don; he explained all my options in detail and answered all my questions. I knew I had called the right attorney of...fice. I started working with Don right away on my bankruptcy process and I can't say enough good things about him and how professional and knowledgeable he is. He also has Oliver that works with him, and he is also terrific. Donald was extremely personable, patient, and always made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. He showed sympathy and understanding toward my situation. He went step by step explaining what would be happening and let me ask questions. He or Oliver would always answer all my questions immediately, and I had a lot of questions throughout the process. Donald guided me through with patience and made each step clear.
