I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. I was one of eight children, did not have a “privileged” upbringing, but am extremely grateful for my parents’ many sacrifices. They instilled in me a work ethic that I carry with me to this day.

Throughout my years, I have overcome many personal and professional challenges. I now devote my professional life to helping clients overcome their financial challenges.

Man knows his stuff

I was living paycheck to paycheck and it seemed like I wasn’t getting ahead. I was putting myself deeper and deeper in debt. Eventually I decided it was time to file for bankruptcy. I searched online and Donald Hood was one of the lawyers that appeared. I was hesitant to make the call, but Donald m...ade me feel at ease. We continued to communicate and I choose him as my attorney. He made the process easy and bearable. He was available days and nights. He was knowledgeable and listened to any concerns I had. Help when you need it

I was struggling to pay my bills, because of a reduction with my work hours and pay. I called several bankruptcy Attorneys but Mr. Hood upfront personality and genuine concern made me go with him, He gave me the absolute best advice in my bankruptcy case. Look no further

After wage reductions due to business slowing down my husband and I found ourselves in a place where we couldn’t continue to pay our bills , we had never missed any payments but we knew it was coming and we’re so embarrassed and unsure if we even qualified for bankruptcy. We were referred to Don and ...he quickly assured us that we had options and we instantly felt a weight lifted off our shoulders. If you have ever struggled to pay your bills or are dealing with uncertainty that you wont be able to continue paying them you understand the full failure and defeat that takes over. After meeting with Don and going over everything it was abundantly clear we were in the best hands possible. He is super hard working , very knowledgeable, and not one time did this super successful hard working man make us feel less than because of this situation we were in, if anything he assured us that this was a smart move for our current situation and that we can rebuild. He walked us through every bit of the process and made sure we were ready for each step while simultaneously letting us know how to proceed after we’re discharged so that we can rebuild and make our dreams come true of owning our own home in a few years. We did our meeting of the creditors in his office and realized what a gem of a lawyer we had working for us after hearing how other peoples cases went. He got everything rolling so fast for us we filed first week of July and first week of October we got our discharge notice from him. He also allows you to break up your payments which was a huge blessing to us because we didn’t have all the money up front. I can’t recommend him enough he’s great at his job and a great person as well. This man works 7 days a week to ensure his clients have access to him and get the best standard of service! If you need to file call Don Hood!
