He is a graduate of Rice University and SMU Dedman School of Law. Before practicing law, Adam was one of the top discus throwers in the world, competing at both the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games where he finished 12th and 5th, respectively, as well as winning three consecutive U.S. National Championships.
