I hired Deborah for my child custody case. Not only did she show up late, but she walked right past me to talk to another client of hers when she was on MY time. It's been 3 months and I have yet to receive a final copy (or any copy for that matter) of the custody and visitation order. She was also supposed to submit paperwork to the child support office and didn't do that either. I have sent several emails to her & her paralegal Trish, and I have rarely gotten a response. When I call the office to speak with someone, I'm told she's out of the office and I have to leave a message - which is NEVER returned. I would have been better off representing myself in court..at least I could make sure things are done in a timely manner (or at all, really).

I hired this attorney and it was a waste of time and money. I should have read the reviews. Please do not make the same mistake I did. Mrs Coleman-Fron and the staff were never prepared, did not file paperwork like advised, was misrepresented in court to the judge, never listened nor wrote down the facts pertaining to the case, called in the therapist but never submitted him to the courts so the judge wouldn't hear him that day. It has been a horrible experience.

I worked with Deborah Coleman on a child custody case and I must say, she was the most unprofessional, untrustworthy lawyer I have ever dealt with. She came to court dressed in a wrinkled cheap thin dress, while my ex-husbands lawyer came dressed in a suit dress. She forgot my name in court and catered to the opposing party’s needs, while my ex’s lawyer represented him aggressively and professionally. She spoke about my case without me around, in front of not only my ex but his lawyer who was with him. She doesn’t return phone calls. She is a liar; she told me she had worked with the judge before and told me how nice and fair he was. Then when we went to court the judge was aggressive and mean, explaining that she had never seen him act like that before. Later on when I reported her the owner of the law firm she worked for, he told me that Mrs. Coleman never worked with this judge so it was hard for her to predict how he was going to act (I didn’t even bother tell him she said she did work with him). She pressured me to give in to his requests and got me NOTHING NOT EVEN CHILD SUPPORT out of the deal, even though I have my child full-time. To this day I am still negatively effected by the lack of representation this lady put forth. She is as bad as they come! If you want to lose your case, OR IF YOU WANT A LAWYER WHO CARES MORE ABOUT NETWORKING BETWEEN LAWYERS THAN SHE DOES ABOUT HELPING YOU WITH YOUR CASE, then chose this lady Deborah Coleman. She is sure to cost you a world of hurt pain, financial ruin and embarrassment.
Leon Johnson, Family Attorney
I endorse this lawyer. I work with Deborah on a daily basis, and I see her and her staff consistently pursuing the needs and best interests of her clients aggressively, thoroughly, and effectively. She knows the law, and she cares deeply about her clients; that's a winning combination.
