Biography
I am one of very few attorneys in Texas who is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specilization in both criminal law and appellate criminal law. As of November 2014, there were only 3 other law firms in the Dallas area certified in criminal appeallate law.
I represent clients charged with criminal offenses in federal courts throughout the nation and in state court throughout Texas. I represent clients charged with any type of criminal offense but concentrate on complex cases, even taking a case to the U.S. Supreme Court.
In addition to an active trial practice, I have an active criminal appeals practice and post-conviction writ practice and have argued over 30 cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
