Joseph Strickland is a nationally recognized trial attorney, with experience in complex State and Federal criminal cases across Texas.

A native of San Antonio, TX, Mr. Strickland was raised on the banks of the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, TX, where he attended high school, and captained the football team as an all-state defensive end, leading them to the State Championship in his senior year.
Mr. Strickland holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Texas (‘07 B.B.A), a Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law (‘10 J.D.), and is licensed to practice law in the Federal Western District of Texas, as well as every State, County, Municipal and Justice court throughout Texas.
In 2021, Mr. Strickland joined Trey Porter Law to add his hardened skills and experience to the firm’s established foundation of delivering uncompromising results and client-first service.

Hired for DWI case. You get what you pay for.
I called Mr. Strickland’s firm after reading reviews here and on google. I was very nervous because I had never been arrested before and was very embarrassed because I had a BAD DWI. They made me feel safe and comfortable and everything worked out in the end and I don’t even have a record.
