Elaine Martin has extensive experience in US and global corporate immigration law. She has been practising exclusively in the field of immigration law since 1997.
Elaine has thirteen years of experience in private law practice, advising companies of all sizes from Fortune 100 corporations to sole proprietorships. Elaine also handles family-based immigration and is an active volunteer with immigrant organizations in Dallas.
From 2010-2014, Elaine created and managed the global immigration department of a relocation company. She was responsible for operations and marketing internationally. Elaine helped large clients manage their immigration requirements worldwide, when they transferred employees from any country to any country. Elaine developed and managed a network of immigration experts in over 130 countries, including Bangladesh, Brazil, China, France, India, Japan, Nigeria, and many more.
Elaine is recognized as a leading figure in the global immigration community, with many speaking engagements (in the U.S and overseas) and journal articles to her name. She received the Worldwide ERC Meritorious Service award in 2014.
Prior to her success in establishing a global immigration division, Elaine worked in private law practice, including nine years with the world's largest immigration firm.
Elaine is a native of Ireland, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1994. She has also lived in Belgium and Australia. She speaks good French, and basic Spanish and Italian.
In her free time, Elaine enjoys running and has completed 10 marathons, including Boston. She also cycles regularly and enjoys hiking, yoga, skiing (not often enough!), adventure travel (25+ countries so far) and spending time with family. She volunteers at the Dallas Arts District, and as a reading tutor in elementary schools.
