Having never needed an attorney before we didn’t know where to turn. We did ask a few friends for recommendations, but in the end we decided to do a google search. We did a search for several days with basically the same names appearing each time and after reading about each attorney firm, Emmert &... Parvin stood out above the rest. For some reason we knew they would be a good fit for the situation. This has been a most trying time, going through the death of a parent, one who had no will and who also had an outstanding loan (taken out on the home that had been paid off years before); this loan was a surprise to the family. The loan had never been paid back and we had no idea of what to do because the mortgage company wanted their money immediately. Mr. Parvin is a no-nonsense kind of man when it comes to the law. We soon realized that helping others during a difficult time is his forte; it is evident his clients are a top priority. He has directed us down a path, a road that has been very clear and concise from the beginning. He, along with his staff, have remained in communication with us. He has taken us through the process of probate court. He is currently working with us to remain on a timeline in order to repay the loan. The sleepless nights have become fewer and fewer. We know we met an attorney that is very professional and at the same time very personable. What a great combination!
