Mr. Miller represents individual consumers and serves as a consultant in consumer rights cases. Mr. Miller was born in Dallas, Texas. He attended Culver Military Academy, graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas, and matriculated from Austin College with a dual major B.A. Degree. Mr. Miller attended the University of Texas School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree. He received various honors while in law school, including the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity Outstanding Student Award. Within a week of graduation, Mr. Miller was licensed and began to practice law in Dallas, Texas. He was certified as a Consumer Bankruptcy Law Specialist from 1994 through 2003 and also certified as a Commercial Real Estate Law Specialist from 1983 through 1998. Mr. Miller is the husband of Alice S. Miller, another Austin College graduate. Mr. and Mrs. Miller have three daughters, two sons, two daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, three granddaughters, and three grandsons. He is General Counsel for the Legal Aid Society of Texas).
Mr. Miller is enrolled in Who's Who in the World; Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America; Who's Who in American Law; and the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas.
Mr. Miller lectures frequently about Poverty Law and Consumer Law issues.
Mr. Miller was featured in the September 2, 1996 issue of the Texas Lawyer and in the August 1999 issue of Collections & Credit Risks.
Mr. Miller belongs to the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association, and National Association of Consumer Advocates. He is also serves on the State Bar of Texas Housing Law Task Force and on the Dallas Bar Association Pro Bono Activities, and Legal Ethics Committees.
