Berry Edward Gibson

Please stay far away from this “attorney”. He will continue to ask for money and not hold up to his promises. He will not respond to your calls or messages, unless he needs money. He told me he hopes I rot in jail for not paying him. I honestly do believe he does he work last minute. I feel as if he ...could’ve handled my case way better instead of pushing my case back an entire year and half. Please, stay far away as possible.

I hired mr Berry to represent my son. He charged $3,500 ,which i paid in full. After he got the money i started having problem getting in touch with him. He was not at my son first court appearance. His reason was that he had another case. I aked back for my money and he only gave me back $500 s...aying that the $2500 is for paper work and phone calls. People be aware of rhis lawyer he does not stand up to his promises that he made when he is taking your money. I do not recommend this lawyer.

I hired Gibson in May... We both agreed to drop a deposit of $1,000 first. Gibson told me that there is no doubt on the case and that my son will be out after that court date. Therefore Gibson promised me that he would give me back the $1,000 if he fails to do so... Court date comes... Gibson fails. ...I DID NOT ask to get that money back, I still had faith in him and his hands. I let him finish up what he promised would get my son out. Gibson then started to text my phone asking for another $2,000 because he SAID he had DONE SO MUCH WORK ALREADY. I was at work while receiving these messages and I told him that I will get back to him with the money.... When I then did not text or call him for a few hours he said things like.... ''There will be no deal and no refund of any fees already paid and your son can just sit there for months if I don't hear from you shortly. You let me spend my weekend working on his case and now you wont respond to me. You just passed the most affordable/brilliant legal minds in your area. DO NOT CALL ME WHEN *****(my son) HAS BEEN SITTING THERE FOR MONTHS, DO NOT CALL ME WHEN HE IS CONVICTED AND GOING TO PRISON I WILL NOT HANDLE HIS APPEAL!!! YOU JUST PASSED ON YOUR SONS BEST CHANCE TO BEAT THIS CASE!!!! ALL FEES ARE EARNED DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN!!! CASE CLOSED!!! WHEN HE IS ROTTING IN PRISON YOU WILL REMEMBER THIS DAY!!!'' Those are all of Gibson's words DIRECTLY. I then did not respond... and received another text from Gibson ''I still don't have the # :)'' The # refers to the reference number for sending the $2,000. So I thought maybe he is a good lawyer... I gave him ANOTHER chance which he screwed up AGAIN. I gave Gibson a total of $3,000 that he has not done ANYTHING with! Gibson never texted or called me after he received the money. All he said was there will be a court date which he failed to appear at and I went looking like an IDIOT. BECAUSE THERE WAS NO COURT... So Gibson came up with some STORY SAYING HE HAD A DEATH IN HIS FAMILY. After I called him NONSTOP. Today June 16 my son had an arrangement court date which Gibson FAILED TO DO SO!!! GIBSON IS ALWAYS ASKING FOR MONEY TO BE SENT TO HIM THROUGH WALMART TO WALMART, MONEY GRAM, OR WESTERN UNION, SUCH DISAPPOINTMENT, AND SCAM OF MONEY. I WILL HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND!

He got my charges reduced and my fines reduced. A few months later I was stuck on a probation revocation for another charge and Mr. Gibson got me out fast. He was able to get my court date moved up so I wasn't sitting in jail. He always returns calls and makes even the smallest clients feel important....
