Hard working and Brilliant

I was wrongfully locked up for a probation violation. I was at risk of losing my job that I had for a very long time. He worked hard and got me released so I would not lose my job. Most lawyers would have just said wait for your court date. He blew up the POs phone until he got me out. He is hard wor...king and results oriented. If you need help this is your lawyer. I am very happy to recommend Berry Gibson and although I hope to never need him again, if I do, he will be my first and only call.

Helped me beat a serious felony

I was charged with a serious felony that could have sent me to prison for years. I didn't commit the crime and the only person that believed in me was my attorney, Berry Gibson. He fought hard all the way to the end and beat the charge. It was in Fulton County and the prosecutor kept telling him I sh...ould take a deal and he said no way. Worth his weight in gold.

Great lawyer very good at what he does

Mr. Gibson worked hard to get my felony theft by taking auto charge dismissed. It was hanging over my head for over a year and he got it dropped. This is your lawyer for sure.

Review

Berry Edwards suggested that I should send a fee of $200 wire transfer from Wal-Mart. The fee of$750.00 was for representation in a DUI case. Unfortunately, I complied to send the money. We discussed an additional payment of $150 by 10/3/2014 to discuss the retainer fee and my pending case. However, a...fter numerous unanswered phone calls to him, and his 10/1/2014 initial mention of a $250 retainer fee and the fact that I had not seen him or signed any document to retain his services, I felt that he was not the type of attorney I wanted to handle my case. Prior to concerns I raised regarding his fees, it was never mentioned that the $200 I wired him was nonrefundable. These aforementioned concerns lead me to believe that his practice is unethical and that he may have violated the Georgia Bar Association’s Code of Professional Responsibility.

Very Professional Attorney

He got my DUI reduced to reckless driving in Gwinnett County State Court. He worked very hard on my case and always called me back within 24 hours. Knows his stuff and wants to help. Met him in his office and he was very polite and professional. So much value for the money he charges. Highly recommen...d him to anyone having legal problems.

"Hi I am attorney Brian Lee Nash (Nashville, TN), If I needed a DUI or Accident attorney in Georgia I without hesitation would have my good friend Berry Gibson represent me. This is not because we went to law school together or because we are friends and our children play together. It's because he cares about his clients, goes above and beyond to get the best possible result in each and every case and is great at what he does. I have learned a lot from him and greatly value his input on cases I have here in Tennessee. He is always the first colleague I turn to to brainstorm tactics and strategies on cases I am working on. I highly, highly recommend Berry, especially for DUI and accident cases. If you want any more information regarding Mr. Gibson's qualifications please do not hesitate to contact me at (615) 435-3407. Sincerely, Brian Lee Nash, Esq."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
