Charges Dropped for My Husband and I Only Paid a Fine

My husband and I both got in trouble for separate charges in July of last year. My husband hired Mr. Bitter for his Terroristic Threat charge. I liked what my husband said about him so I hired him for my case involving pills that I messed with the prescription on. Mr. Bitter was honest with both o...f us about what it would take to get the charges dropped or reduced and that it wouldnt happen over night. The prosecutors eventually dropped my husband's terroristic threat charge completely and they reduced my charge so that I only had to pay a fine. It was reduced so that it was like a traffic ticket and I paid 300 bucks for something that I was first looking at 2 years probation on. My husband had never been in trouble before, but I had been in trouble in the past and really did not want to go back on probation. I had just made a dumb mistake. Mr. Bitter seemed very busy but he and his secretary Christina always returned my calls. He even met with my husband and I at his office on the weekend a couple times. He knew that I was taking care of my mother who had health problems and he helped work with me on everything. I have nothing but good things to say about Aaron and Christina.

Just walk away

I retained Aaron in April of 2009, he was counsel on my case for 9 months in that time frame he managed to transfer my case (with a lot of help from me and MY contacts) file a petition (with ME being the one to actually obtain a case number as he couldn't) and write one letter to the opposing party (...which had to be revised 3 times as each time that he tried to sent out a certified letter he did it wrong and the time sensitive material had to be revised.) That is all he managed to do. His personal issues greatly interfere with is work ethic and many times his personal issues cause your case to take the back burner. The final and last straw with this attorney came when he moved locations and failed to inform his clients of where he could be located. I currently have a pending case with the Texas Bar. I have retained new counsel and can tell you honestly that should you hire this attorney please make sure to budget for a retaining fee on a second attorney when you need to obtain new counsel.

He Listened to my Story and Fought for me in Court

I just got done with a Misdemeanor Marijuana case where Mr. Bitter got the charges against me dismissed. I was arrested with two buddies while we were riding in Frisco a couple months ago. I knew that there was a joint or two in the car, but I really no idea that one of them had a much larger bag ...on them. We all got arrested. A couple weeks after bonded out, I talked to Mr. Bitter and 2 other lawyers about hiring them to fight my case. The other two lawyers treated me like I was some dumb doped out college kid and did not act like they believed my story or had any intererst in helping do anything other than get on probation. Mr. Bitter did not say whether he could definetely get the charges dismissed, but he said it was possible and from the first interview he seemed like he genuinely cared about helping me with my case. I honestly was a little worried that this guy was too nice to be an attorney and I was hoping that he really would fight for me. The case did not get dropped immediately, but I got a call from Mr. Bitter's office a couple months later informing me that all charges were being dismissed against me. I never even had to go to Court, and I paid a lot less than my two buddies, who both got probation on the case. I would defientely recomomed Mr. Bitter to anyone going through a similar situation with criminal charges.
