A trusted ally when problems arise

Whether it has been dealing with divorce and custody issues or just getting general legal advice, I can always count on Bob to provide advice that is common-sensical. Bob is not just looking to find a way to make money off of his clients. In fact, he advises us how to achieve our goals in the most ex...pedient and financially sound way. Although he is a tough guy in the courtroom, he makes every effort to collaborate with the other party if it will benefit his client. I am so impressed with all of Bob's work for my family. His office staff is also just wonderful. Any time I have needed legal counsel Bob answers the phone. I've been a client since 2005 when Bob was referred to me by a corporate lawyer.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I was involved in a case against Mr. Matlock and found him to be very professional and a man of his word. Aside from the obvious fact that he had a thorough grasp of the law at issue, he had the ability to analyze the dispute from a practical standpoint as well. He no doubt serves his clients well with these capabilities and I would recommend him to anyone in need of family law representation."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
