As an intellectual property attorney, my role is to be a part of the creative process. The best parts of humanity show themselves when we innovate, and my job is to provide the tools to bring ideas to life. Whether it is a unique novel, a great new craft beer, or a rocket engine, I want to learn everything about it and be part of the team that makes it happen.
I believe passionately in the power of ideas. Ideas challenge and push people to test limits, ultimately leading to change that betters lives. Ideas took me from riding freight trains across country to watching the sunrise from Mount Kilimanjaro. Ranger School, the New York City marathon, jumping out of planes -- I have always pushed past boundaries. My passion for ideas has taken me across the globe from volunteering on a Guatemalan coffee plantation to camping 200 feet above the ground in the redwood forest.
I have handled over twenty trials, an equal number of administrative hearings, and numerous depositions. I have worked on complex litigations and led trial teams to favorable client outcomes. My unique approach to teaching and my ability to make complex facts clear has given me opportunities to teach groups ranging from 5 to 500 people.
If you are looking for new approaches, unique insights, and someone willing to lead a team to success, I am eager to talk to you. Let's build something together.

Excellent knowledge of the laws
Mr. Creedon closely reviewed all of the facts surrounding my case. He quickly recognized there is clear and convincing evidence that alleges violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (“DTPA”) against the defendant. Mr. Creedon is a pleasure to work with.
"James is a superior attorney. James is the sort of attorney who does his research, prepares in advance, and does not assume risk. James will work diligently and protect his client to the utmost. I have seen James in action, and I recommend him without hesitation."
"James Creedon is a diligent, creative, and knowledgeable attorney. I endorse him for his legal acumen, work ethic, and common-sense approach to addressing client needs. We recently discussed his representation of a pro bono client with a trademark claim against a well-known entertainment company. James resolved the matter with a combination of good judgment and informed legal analysis."
"James Creedon knows intellectual property very well. He is a conscientious attorney who does an excellent job for his clients. I endorse this lawyer for his skills as an attorney. I also endorse this lawyer for his personal commitment to justice. As veterans, James and I share the commitment to helping other military veteran, and assisting those in need through organized efforts to provide free legal services to the poor. We have worked together in a pro bono clinic that is for the benefit of military veterans."
