8 years later.

David was amazingly helpful. 8 years after helping me with a bogus divorce case I needed the court documents and some advice as to the outcome and what it meant for a property sale I have pending. I called David and he picked up immediately. I explained who I was and he remembered me right away. He ...answered my questions and even pulled up the court documents I needed and emailed them to me. I asked what I owed him, as he spent a decent amount of time on the phone helping me and to my surprise he said it was on him and to have a good day. I knew he was a great attorney and a great person and this just proved it allover again. I will recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Mr. Housel and I worked together to help a couple of parents resolve their differences and put a good parenting plan in place. David advocated strongly for his client, but never let his own ego cause the case to blow up. He knew what was worth arguing about and what wasn't, and that is what distinguishes good attorneys from the rest. I look forward to working with David on other cases in the future."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
