Best in Texas

I hired Chad to help me handle outstanding debt that I was being sued for. He got the case settled quickly . He was able to answer all my questions and his staff was also very helpful. I am now debt free. Highly recommend him to represent anyone needing a really good attorney for cases involving past... debts ,or any kind of civil litigation cases.

civil disagreement with neighbor gone bad

i hired Mr Norcross to handle a civil disagreement i had with my neighbor. He charged me a decent amount of money and we made a plan. From the first hearing and subsequent case processes, Mr. Norcross made advances to me and when i rejected him, he became more demanding and the case became a nig...htmare. He started stalking me at my home and work and i had to put a restraining order on him. he continued to harass and sexually harass me. This is possibly the worst lawyer encounter i have ever had. Please stay away from this lawyer.

This is a completely false review. I have never represented this person. Please note that the review states that the person ..."had to put a restraining order on him." To obtain a restraining order, a person has to file an application for injunctive relief with a court of competent jurisdiction. You can search all court records in any county in Texas and you will be able to verify that Chad Norcross has not been a defendant in any case seeking a restraining order against him, nor a defendant in any case with allegations stated in the review. Also, note the review was left anonymously. If such a case existed, the plaintiff's name would be public information so why leave it anonymously? Thank you for reading my comment.

Consummate Professional

Took my stress level from 10 to 1. His knowledge and communication have impressed me. Never thought I would need his services in my lifetime. I am in a situation feeling bullied, called Chad and he's been there for me with a solid game plan. Thank God for Chad Norcross!

Trusted

After 1-1/2 months of shopping for an attorney that would take my case, Mr. Norcross actually answered the phone personally, listened, called me back in the evening same day, after reading my contractual documents, and consented to take on the case. Majority of contact on my case has been with him d...irectly, through email, text, phone bypassing any staff in office. I am widowed and not have been down the road of legal challenges, and Mr. Norcross made me feel confident, secure, guiding me as to what to expect. I am very grateful for the empathetic, caring, professional, and confidently knowledgeable way about him. I wish him well and much success. Thank You.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2016.

Public Reprimand issued in TX, 2016

updated on 02/07/2017

Public reprimand means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State gives the lawyer a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Chad’s comment:

“This matter related to an ambiguous text message that was sent to the lawyer that did not provide the lawyer with sufficient information about an upcoming court setting. In the case the Court also could not show with credible evidence that it had sent the trial notice to the lawyer either. The lawyer being unaware of the trial did not appear. However, the lawyer settled the matter in order to save the time and expense of a lengthy legal proceeding. The client suffered no damages at all.”

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
