Jon R. Boyd

Jon was extremely inattentive and virtually never returned calls or emails. His advise to move forward with my case was a calculated error according to several attorneys I consulted after my case was heard. Jon was not prepared against very junior opposing counsel in his arguments, cross and direct.... I cannot recommend this lawyer at all.

After hiring an attorney that seems like he was working for the other side, we finally hired Jon to take over our case. He made us feel at ease from the beginning. My husband was facing back child support for several thousands of dollars and he had already paid it. Jon took on the case and had the OA...G dismiss the child support case. He also helped my husband get more time with the kids. Originally we were only getting them every other weekend per the OAG order. Now we have them half the time and their mom has them the other half. We cannot thank Jon and his paralegal Tiffany enough for all their hard work. I hired Jon for my divorce after firing my first attorney, in early 2013. My first attorney gave me poor advice, and so I started with less than adequate custody. Jon helped me fight for 50/50 which I got in late 2013. He then again stepped up to bat for me when in October of 2014 CPS essentially too...k my son away from my ex, and he succeeded in getting me permanent sole custody. He was never once late with a document, late to court, or late to a meeting. Anytime something came up, I was contacted as far as possible in advance to let me reschedule (and remember, this happens ALOT with lawyers - don't be offended, it's just how the court system works!). Along the way (over two years) there were a few times (two or three) when calls or emails to Jon's office took a little longer than I expected to be answered, but all-in all Jon and his staff were excellent, and I could not be happier with the outcome! I have no qualms about recommending him, and would absolutely use him again.
