I have had to hire a few attorneys for civil cases over the years but never had the need for a criminal defense attorney until February 2014. Unfortunately I was charged with a Dwi but I met with Mac for consultation who seemed to be on his A game. I was very pleased with my experience! I asked hi...m about trying to fight the charges and get a lesser charge. We both agreed the evidence showed my guilt and I was willing to own up to my mistake. He was very upfront and honest with me saying "look we could fight this and drag it on,but the end result will stil be the same. The only thing that would be accomplished by fighting this is that you would be paying way more money basically making my house payment". I loved his honesty and that he took charge and took the load off my mind by handling everything for me after my big mistake. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing counsel. Mr. Morris was very informative throughout my whole case. I was able to get in contact with him easily, and if there was a reason he was not able to get to the phone, he would return my calls in a timely manner. He kept me up to date with everything that was going on with my case, big or little, and ...did not sugar coat anything. I have always been told that lawyers would screw you, but I did not feel that was with Mr. Morris. He was very understanding, and compassionate about the situation. He seemed as though he truly cared about my case (even though it might not have been as big as other cases he was working on). He will not screw you, nor will he do minimum as possible, as other lawyers might do for you to go back to them in the future.
