Do not jeopardize your case!!! incompetent attorney

Yes she was very nice, but she was not prepared for anything. there was absolutely no communication from her office it would go days before they would get to me if they were getting me at all. She was completely unprepared for hearings completely. She didn't read over my financial documents or an...ything prior to the hearing. I was put in an unfavorable light compared to the other side that's not supposed to happen. I would have to call and call and call to check up on things and no one will get back to me but yet I was being charged. I had to sever the relationship and find another lawyer, which I did wow what a difference!!!

Hiring her is a mistake

I had a terrible experience with her. Her only intention was to grab as much from me as possible, thiugh i didn't have any. Despite charging me heavily, she was least prepared for the hearings. She misses even the most obvious points, and in my case prepared an incriminating document, not verified by... me, which was taken advantage of by the other side, damaging my case completely. My matter went to trial, for which again she was ill prepared, ruining my chances for a fair hearing completely. She is not the lawyer for you, if you are in a desperate situation.

Do not HIRE for Family Law issues

My case started off as a simple modification of visitation and due to Holly not doing the research on my ex's criminal background, not being serious about my daughter being painfully wiped in her private area by my ex everytime she went to the bathroom (she's 7), not being assertive in her questioni...ng nor prepared, this case has now turned into a custody case. A custody case!!! My ex who had nothing to do with my daughter for the first 6yrs of her life (remember she's only 7 now) is now suing me for full custody of my daughter all to stop paying child support. My ex has since, taken my daughter from school and basically kidnapped her. The police has deemed it as custodial interference and has written up a police report however, because this is a civil matter I still cannot walk up and get my daughter back. My ex has tried to withdraw her from school but was not allowed so I currently have no idea what my daughter is doing everyday she's not in school which is going on a week now. By day 10, he'll be in trouble for truancy and I am so grateful for that but it will not be because of Hollys due diligence. I had to become my own attorney and currently fighting to bring my daughter home. I printed out text messages, pics and grades of my daughter showing proof that this entire ordeal was detrimental to the mental and emotional health of my daughter but she would still show up to court with one sheet of blank paper. NO EXAGGERATION. Her cross examination of my ex was piss poor and she didn't use any info I had given her. Holly may have other expertise but family law is NOT one of them. She failed to give me my court documents that I begged her for, she invoiced me for services she didn't perform and had the temerity to get very nasty via voice-mail and text messages. She tried to clean up her behavior but it's far too late. Me being pregnant with my 2nd child has nothing to do with this case but Holly stressed me out more than the case itself. She gave me no confidence. Please save your money, your time and trust the last two reviews. Good luck with your legal needs

Worst, Most Unprepared, Attorney I've Ever Dealt With

I hired Holly to assist me with a child support enforcement hearing, which should have been straightforward. Our first conversation gave me great confidence in her, despite her disciplinary record. I thought everyone makes mistakes. She seemed knowledgeable, intelligent, and "on the ball." I sent... her every document needed, and that she requested, immediately. We spoke twice before the hearing. The day of the hearing, she did not have any of the documents I sent, had no idea what the case was about (even though we had a conversation 4 days before the hearing), and didn't know what to ask my ex-husband. I had to correct her, constantly. She did not even know my ex's name. It was embarrassing, and despite getting a judge known for being hard on men who don't pay child support, I almost lost the case. After 2 years, I am still trying to get the court documents from her. She said she doesn't have a copy, yet she wrote them. I do not recommend hiring her. Her rates are within normal rates for the area, but she is not worth what she charges. I have requested and never received an accounting of her hours and charges. She claimed to have spent 3 days working on my case, but it was clear she didn't even spend 3 hours, as she did not know my new name and used my former name several times during the hearing (a name I had not used in over 10 years).
