Joel Brantley Hudson

I am beyond impressed with the service provided by the good folks at Hudson Law Firm. Everyone I've dealt with has been exceptionally honest, empathetic, and knowledgeable. I came to Joel after sustaining an injury from an accident at a grocery store, and from day one Mr. Hudson (and the entire staf...f) made me feel as though I was their top priority. Furthermore; Joel fought for me, and got me a settlement that I am very happy with. I will be referring anyone I know who ever finds themselves in need of personal injury representation to Hudson Law Firm, assuredly.

Mr. Hudson is a terrible attorney. He does not respond in a timely manner. His assistant, "client service specialist", does all of the communications. Ginny is very nice, but she is not the attorney. Mr. Hudson does not respond personally, which kind of makes his motto, "We put personal back int...o personal injury law", A JOKE. I would rate him very impersonal, and disconnected from his clients. Mr. Hudson appears to be doing very well, and living well; but I cannot say the same for his clients. Slow, unguided, and not really serving the clients interests would better define Mr. Hudson's practice. You can accept these shortfalls, if that is what you look for in a lawyer. Outcome for my case is pending, well short of any expectations I would expect from a competent lawyer. Mr. Hudson sounds like a nice person, when you actually get a chance to talk to him. Just keep in mind, nice will only get you so far in a legal case; and in most cases, will get you on the losing side of an argument. If this is your goal, maybe you should give Mr. Hudson a shot. If you want a smart, aggressive lawyer, who is on your side, and will return your phone calls in a reasonable amount of time (like within a week), then Mr. Hudson is probably not your guy for the job. Personally, I would never recommend Mr. Hudson to anyone, except to the few I don't like, and even then I am not sure if he would warrant a recommendation. Good luck, if you sign a retainer fee agreement with this guy!

I was in an accident last July and at first tried to settle with the insurance company on my own. Big mistake but luckily for me, Joel was already working on my passengers case and was more than willing to take mine on as well. He responded to my emails and phone calls promptly and answered all of m...y questions, no matter how stupid they may have been. He was patient with me as I do have a mental disorder that makes it difficult to communicate effectively on the phone. He is a kind and honest lawyer, one I highly recommend. I know you're thinking why I put that last bit of information but here is why; if you're like me and have social anxiety or what have you, he will put you at ease immediately and that is what is the most important thing. He settled my case in a reasonable time frame and he battled for my rights like a warrior. He truly does put the Personal back in Personal Injury!

I retained Joel for my car accident because when we first met I got the impression that he would give my case personal attention versus having a legal assistant do all of the work. He kept true to his word and we settled my case in the time frame that we discussed at our first meeting. Joel isn't i...n it "just for the money." He truly cares about people and helped me move beyond some of the personal issues that arose due to my accident. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Joel helped me recover some of my out of pocket expenses from a bathroom renovation gone wrong. And got me a guarantee that no lien would be placed on my property. He was convenient and easy to work with. He worked with me over the phone and via emails. This eliminated the need to take off from work... to get this important matter attended to. This issue had already caused so much disruption to my life. He listens to you and provides feedback; if you have questions he gives you answer or he does the research and follows up with you. I would recommend him and I would use him again if the needed.
