Great divorce attorney
Scott handled my divorce and stuck with it through thick and thin. He got the results I wanted and was able to change the Amicus' mind on possession. He stuck with it through a long drawn out process and activist judge who required us in court 5 times. He was reasonable with fees and cut breaks when possible. I would recommend Scott for any type of legal issue.

I have worked with Mr. Parker on several family and juvenile issues over the past 10 years. He has not only been an excellent champion for my family in the courtroom but he has also been a great help in navigating various juvenile criminal issues that came up. With his help my family is now moving forward in a much more positive direction.
I have recommended Mr. Parker to many of my friends and colleagues for both family and corporate issues. I would not hesitate to recommend him again.
His help and expertise has been a blessing to us over the last 10 years! We are grateful to have found such an excellent attorney!

EXCEPTIONAL LAWYER AND PERSON
Scott is our corporate lawyer and has assisted us in various legal matters concerning customers. However, there have been a few personal matters that he has also handled for us, along with a couple of friends. In both, professional and personal matters, Scott has always handled each case with the upmost diligence and professionalism.
Glad he is on our team!!!

Excellent lawyer
I was referred to Mr. Parker several years ago from a friend of mine to handle some matters
that needed attending to with work and family. He was very patient in explaining how the process
would go and answered any and all questions I had.
I would definitely use his services again and do plan to in the near future.

Excellent Attorney, I highly recommend.
Scott Parker handled my divorce. Although divorce is never pleasant, working with Mr. Parker was a comforting decision. Never once did I question his guidance or knowledge as he portrayed extreme confidence in his experience and knowledge. From the moment he was hired, I was treated as though my case was of utmost importance, and that treatment never waivered, even through today. Mr. Parker still will call upon occasion to check on my well being.
Consequently, I have referred him to friends who have also been pleased and I have even hired Mr. Parker for other small things along the way.
Thank you Scott Parker for excellent representation.

This review is from a person who hired this attorney.
| Hired Attorney
Worst attorney in DFW.
I Initially called Scott Parker to schedule a consultation after briefly giving him a description on what my custody battle was all about. We then scheduled a time to meet at his one man "Law Firm"
(He showed up half an hour late and said: I'm sorry I'm late, I was having a few drinks at the bar/restaurant down the street claiming the owner of the restaurant is his client and blah blah blah ( Red Flag # 1 )
I gave him the benefit of doubt because I only cared about whether or not his experience and expertise / services can help me. He Told me that he "specialized" in family law and has won many custody battles for his clients and has had countless years of experience doing so! He was very convincing and used manipulative Persuasions such as," the judge is my buddy and we play golf together" and what not... (I later found out they were ALL LIES) he told me everything I wanted to hear just like a used car salesman. I decided to hire him that day after falling for all his lies and not knowing any better. After hiring him as my attorney, he made me sit down in his office and build the case for him, I did all the work for him yet I was still being charged for it! (Red Flag #2). I literally sat in his office for five hours and completed everything from start to finish along with evidence and everything such as recordings / phone records / pictures I mean absolutely everything, in immaculate order ! All he had to do was copy and paste (literally) !
He was completely unprepared in Court (Red flag #3) extremely sloppy all the way around, ungroomed, smelled like a carton of cigarettes, clothes was completely wrinkled and looked like as if it was pulled out of a bottle! this guy was a disaster ! I was blown away how unprofessional he was and most importantly his lack of knowledge. He got ripped apart by the opposing lawyer, I mean this guy had NOTHING, no rebuttals, no objections, he never knew what to say, always stuttered and ask the judge numerous questions which was actually upsetting the judge constantly ! It was only at this point that I realized he didn't know anything about family law .He didn't even submit the evidence / recordings I had provided to him which was crucial in my case and ultimately cost me my child's custody ! I remember at one point even the judge said to him : you're a licensed attorney , why are you asking me ? you should know this stuff , this is your case not mine !!! I knew right then and there I had lost the case and MY CHILD. And sure enough after losing the custody battle towards the end the opposing attorney asked me if I had hired him from Craigslist. (Wow)
Scott Parker is the worst attorney EVER. he took THOUSANDS of dollars from me and took complete advantage of me at a time when I was at my weakest and most vulnerable ! I wish I had more time on my hands to file a grievance against him with the State Bar for negligence and incompetence, But I had to use that time to find a different attorney who was actually knowledgeable and wasn't a "con" man! I wouldn't recommend Scott Parker to my worst enemy ! The fact that this person is still able to practice law without even knowing it, is mind-boggling !
( I guess that's why they call it practice )
Do yourself a BIG favor and don't walk away, RUN AWAY !!!
P.s. I'm doing this for all the good Fathers out there hoping you don't get taken advantage by this person. don't fall for any good reviews. I have nothing to hide and I used my Real name, Richard.

This is ABSURD and FICTICIOUS!!!!
I WOULD WELCOME AND ENCOURAGE THE PERSON THAT WROTE THIS FRAUDULENT REVIEW TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. USE THEIR REAL NAME AND BE HONEST;
2. REPORT ME TO THE STATE BAR OF TEXAS WHICH CAN BE REACHED AT THE FOLLOWING TELEPHONE NUMBER (800) 204.2222 SINCE IT WOULD BE MORE PRODUCTIVE AND TAKE A LOT LESS TIME AND EFFORT THAN THE FAIRYTALE THAT WAS CREATED; AND/OR
3. SEEK PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING.
P.S.....
I DON'T SMOKE, STUDDER AND I THINK THAT YOU HAVE MISTAKEN ME FOR SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME DIRECTLY TO DISCUSS YOUR UNWARANTED AND FRAUDULENT REVIEW.
I'M SURE THAT IF IT IS ME, YOU HAVE MY CONTACT INFORMATION AND I LOOK FORWARD AND WELCOME YOUR CALL......
Sincerely,
Scott E. Parker

Wasted time, money, effort & emotions
Scott wasted my time and money in a family law case. He worried more about the $$ than about what he was actually getting done. I gave him a poor (but honest) review about 2 months ago which apparently made him mad because he just contacted me AT WORK to tell me he wasn't going to work for me any longer because I "posted a one-sided review" and I "don't have faith in his services". A review IS one-sided which is why it is called a 'review' instead of a debate. I provided honest feedback in my review about the weeks and months of my time that he wasted by not completing the things he constantly promised me he would complete. The single remaining item I needed to have filed is a motion to enforce - for which I have already completed the bulk of the work - he just needs to file. Instead he chose to 'fire' me because he is not happy with my review. Perfect example of why he received a bad review. Finaly, weeks after the bad review he tells me he isn't going to finish the work - more of my time wasted. There are dozens of attorneys on every corner in this city - no need to hire this one.

Lack of Knowledge & Effort cost me dearly
I lost custody of my daughter due to his lack of knowledge and SKILL to even keep up with the other attorney. He allowed hearsay into testimony - NEVER objected to hearsay! Isn't that Lawyer 101?! Never seemed prepared in court. Errors of fact in legal documents prepared for case. Does not follow up / follow through on things without my constant emailing/calling (and being charged for communication). ALWAYS has excuse why things are not being done (short handed, on vacation, dropped my phone in the ocean, new carpet in my office) and MONTHS go by until something is finally done. When we DO communicate, it always feel like we are starting all over again and I have to explain everything to him again (and be charged for for the time). He promises XYZ will be done "by next Tuesday" and seven weeks later I'm still waiting.

Divorce and separation Attorney | Mar 25
Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
"Scott and I were opposing counsel on several divorce matters----one where he represented the woman (the Petitioner), and one where he represented the man (the Respondent). No matter what side of the case he was on, he fought equally as hard for his client and represented the client zealously. Moreover, he was willing to search for negotiated solutions, where it was appropriate for the client and saved on legal fees. I found him to be forthright, ethical, and a good example of what attorneys should be."

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Scott for many years. He is a great family law attorney. He runs his practice with honesty and integrity. I highly recommend him."
