EXCEPTIONAL LAWYER AND PERSON

Scott is our corporate lawyer and has assisted us in various legal matters concerning customers. However, there have been a few personal matters that he has also handled for us, along with a couple of friends. In both, professional and personal matters, Scott has always handled each case with the u...pmost diligence and professionalism. Glad he is on our team!!!

Excellent Attorney

Scott Parker is a very professional and knowledgeable Attorney. He handled my case with extremely high ethics, excellent communication skills, and compassion in a very efficient timeframe. I have strongly recommended him to several family members and friends.

Wasted time, money, effort & emotions

Scott wasted my time and money in a family law case. He worried more about the $$ than about what he was actually getting done. I gave him a poor (but honest) review about 2 months ago which apparently made him mad because he just contacted me AT WORK to tell me he wasn't going to work for me any lon...ger because I "posted a one-sided review" and I "don't have faith in his services". A review IS one-sided which is why it is called a 'review' instead of a debate. I provided honest feedback in my review about the weeks and months of my time that he wasted by not completing the things he constantly promised me he would complete. The single remaining item I needed to have filed is a motion to enforce - for which I have already completed the bulk of the work - he just needs to file. Instead he chose to 'fire' me because he is not happy with my review. Perfect example of why he received a bad review. Finaly, weeks after the bad review he tells me he isn't going to finish the work - more of my time wasted. There are dozens of attorneys on every corner in this city - no need to hire this one.

Lack of Knowledge & Effort cost me dearly

I lost custody of my daughter due to his lack of knowledge and SKILL to even keep up with the other attorney. He allowed hearsay into testimony - NEVER objected to hearsay! Isn't that Lawyer 101?! Never seemed prepared in court. Errors of fact in legal documents prepared for case. Does not follow up .../ follow through on things without my constant emailing/calling (and being charged for communication). ALWAYS has excuse why things are not being done (short handed, on vacation, dropped my phone in the ocean, new carpet in my office) and MONTHS go by until something is finally done. When we DO communicate, it always feel like we are starting all over again and I have to explain everything to him again (and be charged for for the time). He promises XYZ will be done "by next Tuesday" and seven weeks later I'm still waiting.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Scott and I were opposing counsel on several divorce matters----one where he represented the woman (the Petitioner), and one where he represented the man (the Respondent). No matter what side of the case he was on, he fought equally as hard for his client and represented the client zealously. Moreover, he was willing to search for negotiated solutions, where it was appropriate for the client and saved on legal fees. I found him to be forthright, ethical, and a good example of what attorneys should be."
