Snail Speed and Unresponsive

Do not HIRE this attorney. He currently works for the Law Office of Chris Schmiedeke. Chris represented me in my divorce and did such a great job. I hired Chris's firm again and Robert was my lead attorney and he did a horrible job. He doesn't care about you as a client or a person. He moves in snail... speed and has an attitude 100% of the time.

Do not trust his business

This lawyer did not mention facts that I had provided him with. His communication lacked, he hardly told me what the other parties were responding in emails. Let alone when they responded with legal documents they made me seem at fault. When In all reality I provided evidence. My affidavit had leaked... to the other party and this lawyer did not have my best intentions at heart. He kept asking for more money. And charges $87 for listening to a voicemail? He doesn’t pick up phone calls or even communicates about the what I needed to be said in the responses. Wasted my time and money!!!!! Do not trust him especially if you are going through a tough time in life! He frankly doesn’t care!

Former Client

I was going through a long pending divorce and obtain Robert to represent me. This man worked with no concern or urgency of ending my case and ripped me off. Would Not recommend to anyone.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Robert's passion is criminal law. His attention to detail; his knowledge of the law and persistence has resulted in outright dismissals, acquittals and some just over the top good deals. He is very careful and astute. His arguments are persuasive. Robert Thornton was opposing counsel in one of my cases. His attention to detail and aggressive posture impressed me very much such that he became a part of my team. He is of counsel to the Jackson Law Group. He has assisted me in several matters - especially, high end complex litigation. As a result, he has become well known to the bar."
