Disability

Dan Davis got me a nice settltment, but never told me that when I filed my disability I had to pay my part back. Then they handled my disability case and got it approved, now after six years with them,I find out I have to pay back my part of the WC settlement, and apparently SS is using the wrong fig...ures and dates to figure my disability. My lawyer with the firm, Roger, laughed at me and flat refused to find out why he had been paid in full and I have received nothing and can't find out when I might get anything or even how much it might be! So, in conclusion, Dan Davis Law firm is over 20,000 richer and I have nothing and could lose my house.

Utterly and completely disappointed.

The assistant for my case (and the only person I ever spoke to, however rarely that was), dodged my questions, delayed paperwork that cost me the money I spent to get a loan delivered extra early. She never answered her phone, instead monitoring calls and not returning them until late the next day. I... had numerous issues with her, but my attorney was rarely in the picture, and the times I did speak with him (at hearings, only), he was brief and not the "bulldog" I was told to expect him to be. He came off as indifferent and bored, truth be known. They had me sign a document stating I would not file for disability for THREE YEARS after the case settled. So here I am, unable to work and unable to get help. I wish someone had warned me ahead of time. I was disappointed with everyone I met. They didn't seem to take their jobs seriously. I was merely a paycheck and it was a rush to the payday, without regard for how it ended for ME. Please, if you're seeking a law firm, do your research first. Find one that truly does have you in mind, and wants to help you get what you need, no matter how long or hard they have to fight to get it. You don't want to end up like me. Good luck!

Arrogant and non professional

When I went to work comp court, the opposing side offered me a settlement and instead of advising me of my options, he shopped for shoes on his phone the entire time I was there. I felt he was trying to push me to settle so he didnt have to fight for me. Completely disappointed and wish I would have ...chose someone who would actually work for me. He was definatly NOT worth any of the 20% I had to pay him! Also, he never updated me. I had to call him all the time to just get updates. He acted like he was so much better than me and he didnt need to work hard for me a larger settlement. I done most of the work myself!!
