Disability

We used Them in a car wreck case. They did us good on that case. But we used them on my disability case and got nothing from them. Mr Hail ne ee contacted me,never spoke to me nothing. No communication what so ever. They fail to tell me they don't do the federal level of disability. So he took the ...case all the way to where we would have to fight the federal courts and sent me a letter saying he didn't do the federal level of it and was going to refer me to another attorney. Never heard from this other attorney. Then I get a letter from Dan Davis office saying he wasn't going to represent me anymore and the other attorney that never contacted me wasn't going go represent me either. So they left me high and dry with only a certain amount of time to do the appeal without an attorney. So thanks to them I have to start completely over and file again.

Awful law firm!

I would not recommend this law firm to anyone. I was suing for social security disability for my son who was born with only half a heart. I would leave several messages and could never get any one to call me back, and when they would call me they could never answer any of my questions all they would ...say is "I don't know" or " I'm not sure I will get back to you" and then I wouldn't hear from them. They wasted to much time so I wasn't able to receive any of the back pay, and I was the one who had to go to the social security office to get anything done. My son is now finally getting his social security but not from any help of dan Davis! My advice to you is find someone who understands the seriousness of your case and keeps you informed and up-to date the whole time. Good luck!

Utterly and completely disappointed.

The assistant for my case (and the only person I ever spoke to, however rarely that was), dodged my questions, delayed paperwork that cost me the money I spent to get a loan delivered extra early. She never answered her phone, instead monitoring calls and not returning them until late the next day. I... had numerous issues with her, but my attorney was rarely in the picture, and the times I did speak with him (at hearings, only), he was brief and not the "bulldog" I was told to expect him to be. He came off as indifferent and bored, truth be known. They had me sign a document stating I would not file for disability for THREE YEARS after the case settled. So here I am, unable to work and unable to get help. I wish someone had warned me ahead of time. I was disappointed with everyone I met. They didn't seem to take their jobs seriously. I was merely a paycheck and it was a rush to the payday, without regard for how it ended for ME. Please, if you're seeking a law firm, do your research first. Find one that truly does have you in mind, and wants to help you get what you need, no matter how long or hard they have to fight to get it. You don't want to end up like me. Good luck!

DONT hire Dan Davis

Dan was a shadow in the background of my case! He would not follow thru on lingering issues and when a court date would come up to resolve an issue he would rather shake hands in the lobby then go before the judge, hence issues remained unresolved. I was constantly doing my own footwork and had to st...ay on his firms heals DAILY! He is a socialist, cares more about star status then his clients. He doesn't like to wrinkle anyone's feathers and avoids confrontation. I've had 3 surgeries! I fired him and found excellent council who has resolved more issues and done more work for me in 3 months than he did in a year 1/2! Do your homework before hiring an attorney.

Arrogant and non professional

When I went to work comp court, the opposing side offered me a settlement and instead of advising me of my options, he shopped for shoes on his phone the entire time I was there. I felt he was trying to push me to settle so he didnt have to fight for me. Completely disappointed and wish I would have ...chose someone who would actually work for me. He was definatly NOT worth any of the 20% I had to pay him! Also, he never updated me. I had to call him all the time to just get updates. He acted like he was so much better than me and he didnt need to work hard for me a larger settlement. I done most of the work myself!!
