Best Constitutional attorney by far!!!!

Reading the review from two weeks prior to mine on Mr. Price, I just have to add my story. I used to work in a law office and I know that clients sometimes make impossible demands on a lawyer and his staff. When we hire an attorney, of course we feel as though our case is the ONLY one the attorney ...is handling. With today's technology, however, Lawyers are inundated with texts, e-mails, Facebook postings, you-tube videos, pictures, letters, albums, voice recordings, and countless other documents. Clients definitely do not always understand what is "relevant", "admissible", "hearsay", or otherwise "inadmissible". Being an involved party, clouds judgment, which is why it is so crucial to have a great attorney on your side who will tell you exactly what the law is, what is acceptable, what is not, and does not sugar coat it for you giving you FALSE expectations. This of course will sometimes cause a client to react adversely when the lawyer tells them the documents can not be used, or when the Judge excludes them from Court. I know Joel Price and had the honor of seeing his compassion and care when he formed a non-profit organization for Homeless Veterans, all through volunteer work. This man's heart is bigger than anyone I have ever met. He provided me with much needed advice in times of need, never charging a penny as he knew my circumstances. His dedication to his profession is unlike any other attorney I have ever known. He is competent, dedicated and fiercely loyal to his clients and friends, and he really takes to heart getting kids or keeping kids "where they belong". Reading the one negative comment on this site from two weeks prior to my review, it is clear this woman is the "step-mom" who is upset her current husband could not gain custody. It is also clear there were factors beyond Mr. Price's control that apparently adversely impacted the case. His will, dedication, and strength to fight for each and every client is assiduous and diligent. It appears this step-mom can not accept responsibility for her and her current husband's circumstances beyond Mr. Price's control, and she wants to shift responsibility and blame to him. I know this is the easy way out for today's society, but I urge those reading these comments, there will always be someone who will blame everyone else for their own actions. Give Mr. Price a chance, he gives his all to each and every client, but as the client, you have to give it your all as well, and be honest and open. Your attorney is your lifeline with the Court system. Your attorney cannot do his job right if you are not a responsible adult. I ALWAYS return to Mr. Price. I know he will always tell me the truth, what can and cannot be done, and how to achieve the end result. He will not waste my time, nor his. Truth hurts sometimes, but knowing the truth, I can prepare better for handling the situation on hand. THANK YOU MR. PRICE FOR YOUR DEDICATION AND HARD WORK!!

Response... Great experience and 100% knowledgeable!

I'm unsure who the first two "reviews" are referring to, because ttorney Joel Price has been in practice for over 34 years and has been an excellent source of information and help to me and my family. My only regret is that my mother didn't use him during her divorce. I can't speak for his secretar...y; she is only the messenger and is not here to defend herself. I can say that, in my experience in retail and customer service of 20 years, when someone attacks another person, it's because they're guilty of their own demise. Mr. Price has been a shining example of studious lawyering, and he is one of the best Constitutional lawyers in Arkansas, if not in the U.S.! Mr. Price deals with cases on an appeals level, in higher courts, and I've known him to spend hours upon hours reviewing, learning, and putting together volumes of paperwork for his appellate clients. On the same note, I have seen Mr. Price spend hours upon hours helping couples who are unable to have biological children of their own, proceed with adoptions and those same parents refuse to pay him for his work. So, attacking a man of good heart and character because you've lied, because you've refused to pay a bill, and because you screwed up your case, goes unjustified. It should also be noted that Mr. Price was the driving force behind "Linder vs. Linder", regarding grandparental visitation act. Instead of attacking because you owe money and refuse to pay, and because you're looking for someone to blame but yourself, try looking at Mr. Price's history as an excellent lawyer and 100% knowledgeable!

Don't waste your time (he doesn't have the time for you)

My husband and I hired Joel for a post-divorce custody case. Over the course of 13 months, we submitted videos, audio recordings, photos, police reports, texts messages- you name it! All of which depicted my husbands ex denying him visitation, neglecting to take care of their son, and also showed how... poorly my step-son is being treated at home (denied medical treatment, receiving bruises and other questionable marks on his back and the backs of his legs, telling his father that he'll hurt himself if he has to go back to his moms-he's 3!). We dealt mostly with Joel's secretary. And 50% of the time, we would not get a response back if we called or sent an email. If we did, if stated that Joel was busy working on other cases. We asked for a court date back in May- nothing. Then in a August, my husbands ex's attorney filed for a court date. Three days before court, we met with Joel. we sat there and watched as he read through the paperwork in the box with the information we'd given him. Then, he began asking us who was involved in the case- he didn't even know my step-sons name. At the end of it all, he asked my husband and I to go home and mark off what we think should be used as evidence!!! We aren't lawyers! We spent the year getting you the information so you could go through everything and decide what should and should not be used! It was very clear that Mr. Price had not looked at any of the information given to him at any point during the year that had past, even though we had tried to keep in touch with him. He was clearly "too busy" working on other cases, as his assistant, Lynsey said. Now, the opposing attorney is trying to sneak things into the order and Joel Price won't do anything about it until we pay him an additional $3,100 (this is on top of the $3200 we've already paid him). Like is said- don't waste your time- or money!

Divorce

I hired Joel W Price for my divorce. I only met him once and that was 30 mins before court. I dealt with his secretary from the moment I walked in the door. I gave the secretary all of my information. She said we could send a certified letter to my ex. She informed me that after sending him a certif...ied letter in the mail and him not picking it up we could post the divorce in the newspaper and after 30 days we could file for a court date. After paying more money a total of $850 and finally having a court date, I find out 30 mins before court that things were done wrong and the judge may not grant the divorce. This was the first time I ever met Joel Price. I explained to Joel Price all that I had explained to his secretary and he blamed me for everything. I had my friend who was also going to be my witness with me and he told her that I could have lied to her about how many times I called their office to check on my case!!! Then I also found out I should have taken a class they never informed me about! We went to court and the divorce did not go threw! Why because my ex husband was not served properly. So then Joel Price's secretary calls me about 3 days later and informs me that it will be $1500 more up front to continue the divorce. I told her after all you both screwed up NO WAY!! I hired another attorney. Even though I spent close to the same amount but everything finally went threw with the divorce and I am so happy I did not continue with Joel Price.
