Joel William Price

First, let me preface this by saying that I'm not the type to write reviews, however, I feel that the representation I received was so outstanding, that it merited the time. I retained Joel Price in 2015 after being referred to him by multiple people. I had an initial consultatation with him and we w...ent over the details of my case together and he explained all of the possible outcomes. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the law and legal process. Unlike other attorneys that I've had, Joel always kept me informed and made me feel like my case was important; This by itself put me much more at ease. After we received our motion of discovery, he was able to negotiate a possible 30 year prison sentence down to probation without myself ever seeing the inside of a courtroom. Retaining Joel was one of the best decisions that I've made.

In October of 2014, my husband and I were both facing misdemeanor and felony charges as result of an altercation with threatening and harassing neighbors. A friend recommended us to Joel W. Price. Joel was awesome, and took care of us from day 1. many face to face meetings, phone calls, and emails.... He explained ever minor detail, explained what he could do, and advised us on what path to take. He kept us well informed though We do not regret hiring Mr. Price one bit! He is a well-respected attorney by other attorneys (even the prosecutors) as well as the court. We could not have asked for a better attorney to paint the picture for the court of our situation. Joel knew immediately our situation and how to bring to light the intent of the other party. I would highly recommend Joel W. Price is you want an attorney that will work for you and be in your corner to fight for you every step of the way. Joel and his assistant make a great team, and catch stuff that would otherwise slip thorugh the cracks.

I was referred to Joel Price by multiple people after finding out I was being investigated in a criminal case. I hired him before a warrant for my arrest was issued. Mr. Price was immediately on top of things. Mr. Price is a very straight forward person which is something that I not only appreciat...e but admire about a person. We had several meetings to sort through all the information I provided and what the investigators provided. I would ask him questions about laws and he would turn around in his chair, grab a law book, flip to the correct page and show me the answer all within just a very few short minutes. I have never seen someone know that much about the law until meeting Mr. Joel Price. Mr. Price always made sure that I have a copy of every letter that was either sent to or from him. I never felt left out of the loop and was always made aware of what Mr. Price was doing in my case. Of course I can not leave out Mr. Price's assistant, Lynsey. She was always helpful in keeping me on track with meeting dates, court dates, letters, etc.. Mr. Price and Lynsey make a great team and definitely made me feel comfortable even with me having a criminal charges filed against me. Mr. Price taught me a lot about the law going through this whole process. Because of Mr. Price, I am not in prison, still have my kids, got my felony charge changed to a little misdemeanor charge that will be expunged from my record in a year, and won my second court case. I would recommend Mr. Joel Price to anyone and will continue to use Mr. Price in the future.

I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran, not always easy to handle. Joel Price and I met by chance. He was extremely respectful and very aware of me being a Veteran. He spoke to me very honestly and openly, even sharing that his father was a Navy Veteran. I felt extremely comfortable with Joel and was ab...le to open up to him with an old issue that has bothered me for years, but I was too ashamed to do anything about. After finding out the details of my past, Joel volunteered to take care of what I felt was my shameful past, and offered to do a "Petition to Seal". After Joel obtained copies of my incident, he explained to me that I was not a bad person, the circumstances played out as they did, but today is another day and we can ask the Court to seal that from my past and return my Court Honor. I could not believe this blessing. I was always taught by my grandfather, a man only has his word, and if he looses his word, he is no longer a man. I have lived by this all my life. Joel made it possible for me to hold my head up high once again and not feel ashamed of my past, even though it was not as bad as I had made myself feel over it. As a result, I tell all my friends, especially Veterans, about Joel Price. Unlike other attorney's in town who only think about the bottom dollar, Joel looks at the entire situation and does what is best for potential clients, clients, and friends. He respects all who come through his doors and always explains fully the situation and what is possible, and what is not possible. Joel also volunteered for years in helping Homeless Veterans. His family history and his dedication is obvious in his actions. I never hesitate to call upon Joel Price. I know he will always tell me the truth and how to handle my situation.
