Joel William Price

I am a Vietnam Era Army Veteran who suffers from many side effects from Agent Orange exposure. After I had my first heart attack, I started getting bills from my insurance company trying to get more money out of me than they were entitled to. My premiums were paid up, yet my health insurance was try...ing to deny some coverages and charge me. Since I had just had a heart attack, money was extremely tight. A friend told me to talk to Mr. Price and see if anything could be done. Mr. Price immediately and without hesitation scheduled to see me. After going through my policy, all my bills, and proof of my premium payments, Mr. Price immediately began communications with my insurance company. Mr. Price was on top of my situation, was able to obtain the contractual benefits I was entitled to, and did not charge me a penny to do this. He was a God send to me. I was overwhelmed by these bills and how I was going to put food on the table for my family if I had to pay these mounting bills. Mr. Price saved me and my family in our time of extreme need.

I hired Mr.Joe W. Price to represent me in a case. After meeting with him several times, I felt that his mannerism was way to harsh for my liking. Mr.Joe W. Price was very blunt. He told me some things I didn't want to hear concerning my case. But always he was honest and straight forward with me. I ...noticed this right off of course. But I did not think that he was there to help me at all with my case in the beginning. I became disheartened with him and begin to feel like I hired an Attorney that was not going to bat for me. I wanted to write this review because again if you are searching for a Attorney that will go to bat for you. Mr. Joe W. Price is the Attorney you should hire. You won't be sorry. I wasn't. Also his secretary is a professional women and very nice indeed, who answers all your questions when you call. They are just a great team. Thank You Mr.Joe W. I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran, not always easy to handle. Joel Price and I met by chance. He was extremely respectful and very aware of me being a Veteran. He spoke to me very honestly and openly, even sharing that his father was a Navy Veteran. I felt extremely comfortable with Joel and was ab...le to open up to him with an old issue that has bothered me for years, but I was too ashamed to do anything about. After finding out the details of my past, Joel volunteered to take care of what I felt was my shameful past, and offered to do a "Petition to Seal". After Joel obtained copies of my incident, he explained to me that I was not a bad person, the circumstances played out as they did, but today is another day and we can ask the Court to seal that from my past and return my Court Honor. I could not believe this blessing. I was always taught by my grandfather, a man only has his word, and if he looses his word, he is no longer a man. I have lived by this all my life. Joel made it possible for me to hold my head up high once again and not feel ashamed of my past, even though it was not as bad as I had made myself feel over it. As a result, I tell all my friends, especially Veterans, about Joel Price. Unlike other attorney's in town who only think about the bottom dollar, Joel looks at the entire situation and does what is best for potential clients, clients, and friends. He respects all who come through his doors and always explains fully the situation and what is possible, and what is not possible. Joel also volunteered for years in helping Homeless Veterans. His family history and his dedication is obvious in his actions. I never hesitate to call upon Joel Price. I know he will always tell me the truth and how to handle my situation.

I'm unsure who the first two "reviews" are referring to, because ttorney Joel Price has been in practice for over 34 years and has been an excellent source of information and help to me and my family. My only regret is that my mother didn't use him during her divorce. I can't speak for his secretar...y; she is only the messenger and is not here to defend herself. I can say that, in my experience in retail and customer service of 20 years, when someone attacks another person, it's because they're guilty of their own demise. Mr. Price has been a shining example of studious lawyering, and he is one of the best Constitutional lawyers in Arkansas, if not in the U.S.! Mr. Price deals with cases on an appeals level, in higher courts, and I've known him to spend hours upon hours reviewing, learning, and putting together volumes of paperwork for his appellate clients. On the same note, I have seen Mr. Price spend hours upon hours helping couples who are unable to have biological children of their own, proceed with adoptions and those same parents refuse to pay him for his work. So, attacking a man of good heart and character because you've lied, because you've refused to pay a bill, and because you screwed up your case, goes unjustified. It should also be noted that Mr. Price was the driving force behind "Linder vs. Linder", regarding grandparental visitation act. Instead of attacking because you owe money and refuse to pay, and because you're looking for someone to blame but yourself, try looking at Mr. Price's history as an excellent lawyer and 100% knowledgeable!

My husband and I hired Joel for a post-divorce custody case. Over the course of 13 months, we submitted videos, audio recordings, photos, police reports, texts messages- you name it! All of which depicted my husbands ex denying him visitation, neglecting to take care of their son, and also showed how... poorly my step-son is being treated at home (denied medical treatment, receiving bruises and other questionable marks on his back and the backs of his legs, telling his father that he'll hurt himself if he has to go back to his moms-he's 3!). We dealt mostly with Joel's secretary. And 50% of the time, we would not get a response back if we called or sent an email. If we did, if stated that Joel was busy working on other cases. We asked for a court date back in May- nothing. Then in a August, my husbands ex's attorney filed for a court date. Three days before court, we met with Joel. we sat there and watched as he read through the paperwork in the box with the information we'd given him. Then, he began asking us who was involved in the case- he didn't even know my step-sons name. At the end of it all, he asked my husband and I to go home and mark off what we think should be used as evidence!!! We aren't lawyers! We spent the year getting you the information so you could go through everything and decide what should and should not be used! It was very clear that Mr. Price had not looked at any of the information given to him at any point during the year that had past, even though we had tried to keep in touch with him. He was clearly "too busy" working on other cases, as his assistant, Lynsey said. Now, the opposing attorney is trying to sneak things into the order and Joel Price won't do anything about it until we pay him an additional $3,100 (this is on top of the $3200 we've already paid him). Like is said- don't waste your time- or money!
